I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, learner is expected to:

Strips of paper, white board and marker

VII. MOTIVATIONAL BEGINNING


Motivational beginning: Acrostics of their first name. The students will be given 5 minutes to think of an
adjective of the letters on their first name that best describes him/her. Students will be called one by
one to enumerate and discuss it in the class.
Daily Routine:
✓Checking of attendance
✓Cleanliness of the room
Lesson Proper:

A. Introduction of the teacher:


The teacher will introduce herself to the class. She will state her expectations and rules in her
class.
B. Teacher will discuss the following:
1. Activities/performance task for the whole quarter
2. Grading system
3. Class rules
4. Expectations

C. Introduction to the subject


1. Using the “What Do You Mean?” Activity the students will give their own meaning of Science.
2. The activity is divided in 3 parts: Individual, Pair, and Another Pair.
3. Individual: From the given word, write at least 4 things that comes to your mind.
4. Pair: From the words that you have listed, trim it down to 4 words
5. Another Pair: Trim it down to another 4 words.
6. After that, 1 representative will share their collaborated words.
7. Then, the teacher will explain the grading system of the subject.
8. Expectation of the teacher to the students
9. Expectations of students to the subject

II. SYNTHESIS:
A. Using 3-2-1 form ask the students to write:
3 hand signals you learned today
2 class rules you need to follow
1 question you like to ask
B. Call students to state house rules, hand signals, prayer, Mission and Vision and sing SDCA Hymn.

III. ASSIGNMENT:

1. Bring 2 pieces 1x 1 I.D picture and 1/8 index card


2. Ask the contact no. of parents and your address
