Improper waste disposal has consequences that reverberate all over the globe affecting all

people. Pollution is the number one hazard associated with it. Rivers, lakes, oceans, and even
groundwater are affected. Innocent turtles that may live for a century die prematurely for
mistaking plastic for its typical food of jellyfish. Habitats, whether marine or terrestrial, get so
polluted that eventually results in its loss. Wastes clog drainage systems and waterways which
increase the dangers of flooding dramatically. Moreover, the unsanitary and dirty conditions
that are found in places without proper waste management leads to diseases and pests. Lastly,
improper waste disposal destroys, along with the other health benefits it gives, the natural
beauty of the environment that God has entrusted us to take care of.

The factors that affect the type, extent and rate at which weathering takes place are climate,
rock type, rock structure, topography, and time. Climate, because cold and dry areas have
slower rates of chemical weathering than hot and wet regions. Also, the difference in climate
affects the amount of physical or chemical weathering that may occur. The second factor is the
rock type because the minerals that constitute rocks have different susceptibilities to
weathering. The rock structure and topography equally affects the rate of weathering as well.
The presence of joints, faults and other frameworks of rock through which weathering agents
may enter it and the arrangement and physical features of an area by which defines the rock’s
rate of and vulnerability to weathering are the key reasons why rock structure and topography
are considered main factors affecting weathering. Lastly, the length of exposure to agents of
weathering determines the degree of weathering of a rock, and for that reason, time is also
important.

This old man, he played one,

He played knick-knack on my thumb;
Knick-knack paddywhack,
Give a dog a bone,
This old man came rolling home.
This old man, he played two,
He played knick-knack on my shoe;
Knick-knack paddywhack,
Give a dog a bone,
This old man came rolling home.
This old man, he played three,
He played knick-knack on my knee;

For by me, your days will be multiplied and years will be added to your life
proverbs 9:11
1. The general message of the song is that after a painful heartbreak the writer
experienced, the person will just keep on dreaming about her beloved hoping her heartaches
will end eventually. The writer expresses hurt feelings at first when her beloved left her despite
the promises made.
