ESTABLISHED PLASMA PHYSICS LABORATORY AT QUAID‐I‐AZAM UNIVERSITY
i) Developed a cold plasma reactor for Material Processing (Plasma Ionitriding and Plasma
Sterilization), and parallel plate capacitively coupled and Inductively RF discharge
system.
ii) Locally developed and successfully operated a 3 kJ Mather‐type Plasma Focus device.
iii) Fabricated components like pressurised spark gaps, x‐ray pinhole camera, x‐ray
detectors, Faraday cup and Faraday cage in the laboratory.
iv) Designed and supervised in developing a 3 kJ Plasma Focus along with charger, trigger
unit and other accessories at Government College University Lahore.
