About Me
About Me
• Attended Northern Michigan University –Degree in Education with double minors (Social Studies
and Language Arts).
• I have been married for 17 years. 8 of those years I spent raising my children in Mississippi.
• 3 awesome kids-Dylan (9th Grade), Devin (7th Grade) and Delaney (6th Grade). Super busy with
travel baseball, football, and competitive cheer.
Writing
● My goal is to get their voice in their
writing, and not be so “formulated”.
● 3 Major Writing Pieces
● Research Paper (End of 2nd quarter and into 3rd
quarter)
● Writing will be modeled in class.
● Rewrites are allowed for work that was turned
in on time and is a writing assignment, not nightly
homework.
● Grammar is taught throughout the year.

Enjoy the Ride!
• At times it may feel as if you are all on a roller coaster,
but roller coaster rides don’t last for long, and they can
be fun. Remember to take time to enjoy your kiddo. This
awkward, quirky stage won’t last forever. Before you
know it, they will soon be driving a car.
Any Questions??
• I am looking forward to
an exciting year!
