1. Abstract
Modern hand-held devices such as smart phones and PDAs have become increasingly powerful in recent years. A
Dramatic breakthrough in processing power along with the number of extra features included in these devices
have opened the doors to a wide range of commercial possibilities.

Now mobile devices are using like PCs they are changing our daily routine life. we are usually carrying the thing
like checkbooks, credit cards, cameras, mp3 players, etc. but now the mobile device is using for all of these
works with the help of active internet. And also, it is the source of information. Android application making
remarkable impact on the commercial industry. We are willing to make students study guidance application which
will solve many problems of the students.

The prime objective of “student studying guidance app” is to create a full-fledged Android application which can
make the student life easier, cheaper, safer and more fun. Whether he/she wants help in taking guidance about the
higher education in national universities or in international universities or help in finding higher education
scholarship’s and study consultants details the user not only finds all the university, scholarship details in the
country, but also, he can make a choice of the best university based on the rating & scholarship’s he chooses to
have.

And with the help of this application student will get all the details about the event, visa changing policies and
about study abrod visa requirements.

2. Project Background
In the current scenario students are not able to get the proper instructions about the universities admission,
scholarships at that universities .and moreover if someone wants to go abroad for the higher education and also
want to know more about the study visa then there is no place where he can find the details of them so this app
will breakdown the old style of searching universities and help them in finding the admission.

Our goal is user [student] will Find his own ideal study abroad destination with our student-focused country
guides, covering university admissions, fees, scholarships, visas, local life, events details, course guide and more
with this application.

The problem that this project will encounter and the insight of its importance is given below in the following statements:

A complete guide of the countries and the facilities what they will get at that country. Students
6 can easily get the detail of local life of that country.
A Genuine review system which help out the student to find the good universities, scholarships,
7 and the consultancy firm details.
A complete guideline about how to apply for the different study visa’s in the international
8 universities. Which documents you need. And also, Student can easily download the visa
application forms.
if the student wants to know more about the universities, scholarship’s, visa processing he can
9 easily chat with the experts of that fields.
Increase the reliable interface for the students. Provide user-friendly Interface to students during
10 exploration. So that user[student] can save their time
If user willing to meet with the travel agent. For his Convenience, Time Saving and also for the
11 Expertise then this app will help out to find the intermediator between him and the competent visa
issuing authority which is the visa consultants. A user can easily get the travel agent details by
using this app

 I. Key Stakeholders:
 Students: the primary stakeholder of this app is student. He can view all the details of the
admission for the higher education from this app. and also able to view the different feature of this
app.
 Parents: parents also easily can view the all the details of the university.

II. Approach:
In the first step, we will develop interfaces for students by which he will see all the universities admission details.
Second step by using of this app we will make the scholarship section for the student so they easily see the all the
universities scholarship and the criteria, procedure for apply and if he/she is eligible. Then he/she will also can
view the travel agent detail’s. In the fourth phase we will develop events viewer section and expert advice chat
system if the student wants to knows more about the university, scholarship’s, or about the visa processing he/she
will know about this easily.

III. Methodology:
In this project we are going to use Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We use waterfall SDLC
because it is very popular and it is convenient for this project. The phases of SDLC are as follow.

I. Requirement:
In requirements phase we will gather all the requirements of the student’s/stakeholders of the system. Here our
stakeholders are students, parents and academic institutions. After getting all the requirements from the stake
holders we summarize them in the form of modules.

II. Analysis:
In this phase, our goal is to determine that the requirements gathered in requirement phase is useful or not so
we will analyze the requirements. After analysis them we gain the real requirements of the students and
parents.

III. Design:
In design phase we will design the elements of the system that will described the system. It will include
functional hierarchy diagrams, screen layout diagrams, tables of business rules, business process diagrams,
pseudo-code, and a complete entity-relationship diagram, sequence diagrams and database designs relating to
all module for the student’s information, account and fair system.
IV. Implementation:
In this phase the implementation of design that we have design in previous phase is to be implement. In our
project the following implementation will be occur.

1) Create a database’s according to the designs of the databases.

2) Create classes according to the class diagram.
3) Create authentication for user
4) Create university profile and admission detail section.
5) Create chat system for the user[student] convenience.
6) Create the visa requirements and consultant’s details section.so the user will see the all the
information for the study visa process.
7) Create search operation to search scholarship’s, Universities, events and also consultants.

V. Testing:
In this phase we will test the implemented things to ensure that we are working according to the requirements
of the stakeholder’s.

1. Critical Success Factors:

This application is primarily designed for the students. But also, it will facilitate the study abroad consultant’s
industry so they will get the more students study cases by using this application.

2. Assumptions:
Nowadays everything is going online; people can perform various activates such as grocery, banking, order food
online for home deliveries etc. We are assuming that students will get the all details about universities. And
because of this app they will decide better option for their higher education.

Student guidance app is an E-commerce Android application. This application is designing mainly for the
students by using of this application they can view the university scholarships detail’s, consultant’s details, events
information, review system, visa requirements information, course guidance and expert chat or advice.

We assuming that this application becomes a great milestone for the student who are willing to get admission in

scholarship’s and a complete field guidance of the students in which they want to upraise.

University profile:
This app will give the all the detail about the university profile. Students can easily see the university overview,
university location, degree levels & study areas, yearly tuition range, university admissions, size and profile,
facilities and services, accreditation, affiliations, academic structure, social media address, online courses,
Wikipedia article.

This application is the great source to find all the scholarships from all the world university. This prominent
feature of this app is it’s not include scholarship’s details for the Pakistani students. But also, the other countries
students will able to see the scholarship’s that is offer for his specific country. So, this is for all students.

Events details:
A lot of things are happening regarding study abroad activities in Pakistan. So, the student will get all the details
regarding to upcoming event. These events will basically keep aware the students with the visa changing policies
and regulation news regarding study in international universities.

Visa consultant’s details:

This application will provide information to student about the study consultant’s. if he wants some experienced
person take his study abroad case and guide him with his expertise then this app surely will help him. So, it’s also
save a lot of time of the students.

Visa requirement’s details:

If user willing to proceed his study case by his own then this application should help him in this procedure he
will get all the detail about the specific country visa requirement. And which documents he/she need to apply. By
using this application, he should know each and everything.

Subject guidance:
By using This application students will get the guidance about the course and this option will facilitate him to
choose the right university program for the further education. In this student will get the information about the
entry requirements, specializations and about the career prospects.

Bookmark option:
User of this app will easily bookmark his(user) favorite university, scholarships and events by using this feature.

Map System:
User can easily view live location of the universities and agent’s office so by this he (user) can easily find the
exact location. So, it will save lot’s time of him.

Article sharing:
If the user wants to share information of the university with some other person then he will use this feature for
the sharing purpose.

GUI is the most important part of any mobile application. So, we are willing that this application should be a
combination of the best user interface and functionality.

This feature allows the user to directly ask question to expert of that field. So, any query of user will easily be
answerable by this feature. So, this feature is the communication medium between the user and expert.

We are willing to use this feature for the convenience of the user to find the exact location of the

A very useful feature of this app is it will show all the location of the universities.so if user willing to
visit the campus then it will easily get location guidance of that university.

By using this application user can easily find the exact location of the agent. User can view the all the
agent near to him. Or if he wants to browse all the agent in his city he can easily view all of them. So, this
apps will bring more convenience in the life of the user by the simple use of this feature user can easily

This feature will keep track of user’s rights and make sure only authentic user can use its hotel and transport

app will help out them in finding the right university according to their requirements. Students can easily see the
all the university details. And also, this app suggests them university according to their profiles. So, the university
finding problem will be sought out from this app. And also, other main feature of this app is scholarships detail’s,
consultant’s details, events information, review system, visa requirements information, course guidance and
expert chat or advice. So, this application is covering all aspects of the student higher education.

In the market there is no such application is available. And if any application is existing then that’s also not
covering so much details how much we are willing to add in this application.

Our primary user are students. Because every year hundred’s and thousand’s students should go to universities for
their higher education. so, the success rate of the application is high. And already there is no such big competitor
of this application exist so this factor more increases the success factor of this application.
