REFLECTION/ CRITIQUE (Xavier University)

During our visition at XU museum are I felt enjoy because I see some items that new
to my eyes. It catch my attention for remembering the beautiful history of daily living of
people. Especially the design of each item is good. It’s remind me that what are the
accessories, equipment, and dress they are using in the pass especially in area of
Mindanao. Also it show how they live with simple way and not complicated as present
lifestyle. And it has a great contribution to us for knowing our past and improve our future
through the items that showson exhibits.

Their exhibition room is well arranged that show different pass of each area. Like in
whole Mindanao, Region 10, and Cagayan de Oro. Some object are so complicated to
made beacause it has good output like in paintings its more catching to the eyes of the
people who see it. And their storage system is well maintain the restoration and
cleanliness of different exhibits.

REFLECTION/ CRiTIQUE (Capitol University)

This is the second museum we visited like on XU it has so many exhibits that are
shows to us. Some of tbe items attract my eyes to its good appearance and design. Also Commented [1]:

it’s show us the unique tools or equipment that are used in the past and unique culture of
the people. It’s remind me that there are so many different culture and tradition in the
Area of Mindanao like Cagayan de Oro City, Muslim Areas, and other areas. Some of the
items is I already saw during different festival in Mindanao. Also I saw it in the book but
during I visited on that museum I’ve already saw in my own eyes. There are so many
knowledge I get when I saw some of the items because the staff of tbe museum tell some
imformation to it . And one of the most important to it. And one of the most important is
it’s show the past lifestyle of the people unlike today some our lifestyle change and
improve but some is become complicated

The layout of their exhibtion room is good and well organized. Some of their exhibits
are have some important imformation given below the items. Also their exhibits are well
catigorized according to different culture or tradition. There are also some artwork catch
to the eyes of different people beacause it’s so beautiful and give some lesson/ message
to viewer. And the most important is all the item is well restored, and help a lot to the
future generation.
Phillipines’ Peso (Xavier University)

The exhibits of Philippines’ peso cactch my attention because there are changes of
design comparing in today’s peso bill. Some of the old money are I’ve already saw or
even use it. But some is I didn’t encountered and some of is already a coin. Some of the
design of money are so simple unlike today’s peso and there are some unique code , and
serial number to prevent from bad people who fake it. In the money there are some heroes
and past presidents who have great contribution for improving our country. Also there are
some beautiful spots put in the money. It’s a good idea to us for helping and promoting
our tourist spots to other country. It will also remind us the great contribution of different
heroes by helping us to be independent from other colonial country. It also remind us to
improve our economic so that other people have great life. And I have some question that
stays to my mind in the long time like why they change the design of the money every
new president come. While other country still stick to the same design. Commented [2]:
Sungka of Maranao (Capitol University)

Tbe design of the Sungka of Maranao is like the figure of Sari Manok. I’ve been
playing sungka in during in my child day. It can enhance our strategic skills and thinking
skills when we play sungka. It that item it’s remember how good that game during the
pass because we play to our friends and get some new friends. If we practice that tradition
we can enhance our social aspect. Not likely todays some children play on gadgets not
enhancing their physical health. The most important is to love our traditional games so
that the future generations know it and enjoy it.
