jelek ke kubangan bunga.

Resolution: Penyelesaian masalah dari text di atas adalah ketika Burung Layang membawa
Thumbelina pergi dari kubangan bunga.

Reorientation: Penutup dari text di atas adalah Thumbelina bertemu Pangeran Bunga dan
saling jatuh cinta, lalu hidup bahagia selamanya.

Snow White

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow White. She lived with her Aunt
and Uncle because her parents were dead. (Orientation)

One day she heard her Uncle and Aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the castle
because they both wanted to go to America and they didn’t have enough money to take Snow
White. (Complication). Snow White did not want her Uncle and Aunt to do this so she
decided it would be best if she ran away. The next morning she ran away from home when
her Aunt and Uncle were having breakfast. She ran away into the woods.

Then she saw this little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside
and fell asleep. Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from work. They went
inside. There they found Snow White sleeping. Then Snow White woke up. She saw the
dwarfs. The dwarfs said, “what is your name?” Snow White said, “My name is Snow White.”
Doc, one of the dwarfs, said, “If you wish, you may live here with us.” Snow White said, “Oh
could I? Thank you.” Then Snow White told the dwarfs the whole story and finally Snow
White and the 7 dwarfs lived happily ever after. (Resolution)

Paragraph 1

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow White. She lived with her Aunt and
Uncle because her parents were dead.

Pada paragraph ini dijelaskan tentang kapan terjadinya cerita lewat kata “ once upon a time
yang berarti pada suatu masa, dan karakter tersebut juga disebutkan yaitu a little Girl
named Snow White. Dan juga Her Aunt and uncle. Arti dari paragraph pertama “ pada suatu
masa hiduplah seorang gadis kecil yang bernama Putri Salju. Dia tinggal bersama paman
dan bibinya karena orang tuanya sudah meninggal.

Paragraph 2 ( Complications 1)

One day she heard her Uncle and Aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the castle

Pada paragraph ini terjadi konflik yang pertama yaitu dimana Paman dan Bibi ingin
meninggalkan Snow White Arti dari paragraph ke dua “ suatu hari Snow White mendengar
kalau paman dan bibinya akan meninggalkan Snow White di kastil karena mereka berdua
ingin pergi ke AMeriak dan mereka berdua tidak mempunyai cukup uang untuk membawa
Snow White.

Snow White did not want her Uncle and Aunt to do this so she decided it would be best if she
ran away. The next morning she ran away from home when her Aunt and Uncle were having

Pada paragraph ini terjadi penyeselaian pada Paragraph sebelumnya. Arti dari paragraph
ini adalah “ Snow White tidak menginginkan paman dan bibinya melakukan ini sehingga dia
memutuskan kalau langkah terbaiknya adalah melarikan diri. Pagi berikutnya dia melarikan
diri dari rumah ketika paman dan bibinya sedang sarapan. Dia melarikan diri ke dalam
hutan.

Paragraph 4 ( Complications 2 )

Then she saw this little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside and fell
asleep.

pada paragraph ke empat ini, si Snow White terjadi permasalahan yang ke 2 yaitu, arti dari
paragraph ini adalah “ kemudian dia melihat rumah kecil. Dia mengetuk pintu akan tetapi
tidak ada yang menjawabnya sehingga dia masuk ke dalam dan tertidur”

Paragraph 5 ( resolutions 2 )

Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from work. They went inside. There they
found Snow White sleeping. Then Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs. The dwarfs
said, “what is your name?” Snow White said, “My name is Snow White.”

Arti dari paragraph diatas adalah “ sementara itu, tujuh kurcaci sedang menuju ke rumah
dari bekerja. Mereka masuk dan mereka menemukan si Snow White sedang tertidur.
Kemudian Snow White bangun. Dia melihat para kurcaci. Kurcaci tersebut berkata “ siapa
nama kamu?” , Snow White menjawab “ Nama saya adalah Snow White”.

Paragraph 6

Doc, one of the dwarfs, said, “If you wish, you may live here with us.” Snow White said, “Oh
could I? Thank you.” Then Snow White told the dwarfs the whole story and Snow White and
the 7 dwarfs lived happily ever after.

Arti dari Paragraph ke enam adalah “ Doc, salah satu dari kurcaci berkata, “ jika kamu
mau kamu boleh tinggal disini dengan kami.” Snow White mengatakan “ oh dapatkah saya?
Terima kasih.” Kemudian si Snow White menceritakan kepada para kurcaci segala
ceritahnya dan Snow White bersama kurcaci tersebut hidup bahagia selamanya”
