All About Becoming A Pro Gamer:

Gaming is not the same as it was in the early 2000s. With the passage of time, as game’s graphics and
storyline have been enhanced, so does gaming mode. In early 2000, there were a few people who could
have called themselves Gamers but now there are a number of people associated with gaming, either
they play solo, player-versus-player, multiplayer at home or participate in gaming events organized by
different organizations.

Playing a game in solo mode or against your friends isn’t an easy job and requires a set of skills which
after gaining one can call himself a pro gamer. It is not a matter of a day or two become an eSports
champ but it takes time and patience. So let’s discuss some key things that must be done to become a
pro gamer.

Grab A Monster PC:

The first and foremost requirement to become a pro in gaming is a PC with all monster specs. If you are
playing games on a low-end PC, then, firstly, you wont be able to play the game even on its medium
setting, secondly you won't be able to compete with anyone in online gaming as you would be having
somewhat around 30 fps and the others would have 50 to 60 fps, and thirdly, you won't have much
game options as a low-end PC doesn’t run most of the games.

It is quite better if you are willing to become a gamer, at the base level you need a PC having the
following specification to offer at least a suitable performance.

1. At least 500 GB hard drive as most of the games take around 80 GB

2. Minimum 8 GB ddr3 ram
3. At least Octa-core processor with 2.8 GHz because games launched after 2017 works too bad on
Quad-core processors.
4. A graphics card with a minimum of 2Gb Vram and 128 bit, this will offer you around 30 fps in
most of the games.

Choose Your Game:

If you keep switching your game from genre to genre, then it won't be much helpful to you. The best
is to select your game. Analyze yourself that what game you play with full of interest and spend
hours playing. Selecting a particular game will help you to develop your unique gameplay, getting
the theme and storyline, understanding the characters, and master the skills. If you love fighting
games then you may go for Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7 or King of Fighter XIV, in strategy games you
have DOTA 2 and Warcraft and in shooting you may select Battlefield or Call of duty.
Practice All The Time:
The practice is everything to be the best. Playing particular game for a couple of hours in a day is not
enough but you must spend around 8 to 10 hours a day practicing your game. Just practice, practice,
and practice. Try every minor move, master every minor skill. Complete the game multiple times or
play a single level again and again to understand its tactics.

Follow Videos And Tutorials:

Well, it doesn’t matter if you are a dominator in your game or an amateur, you always need to
watch tutorials and videos uploaded by other gamers. By this way, you can extract new techniques
and strategies. Watching videos and tutorial help you to observe and merge the skills shown in the
videos with your skills to develop and enhance your gameplay.

Head-Up For Challenge:

Years of gaming and practice worth nothing if you don’t put your skills on a test. Playing with your
friends in one-on-one mode is the best way to test your gameplay because when you play against a
computer, it responds in a specific way as it programed so you can dodge it easily but playing against
a human player is always surprising as you don’t know what your opponent is up to. But be cautious,
try the game you have practiced, don't go for new experiments.

Be In Online Multiplayer Battlegrounds

Being a gamer, you can’t play alone all the time, you must prove yourself the best in online bouts.
Although, this requires a reliable internet connection like Viasat Exede internet. Going head-to-head
with your friends is quite good but online gaming gives you a chance to explore more pro gamers
from different regions. In online gaming, you also meet some “Smurfs” who could give a lot to learn.

Takes Breaks In Your Life:

Gaming requires consistent practice, but taking breaks is a must. You must not exhaust yourself by
only being stuck to your games because this could harm your eye-sight and cause depression. It is
better to go out with your friends and family, get engaged in physical activities, and watch movies
and so on.
Get The Right Gear:
You must know what gear you need to play a game with complete skills. All the pro gamers keep
separate equipment for different types of games. To play a game like Street Fighter or Tekken, you
must have a Dual Shock Joypad, for shooting games joystick won't be of much help but keyboard
and mouse would be the best controls for it. So you must have a joystick, gaming mouse and
keyboard, headphones, and a gaming wheel.

Summary:
Becoming a pro gamer is a long journey which requires certain measures to be taken. The above-
written article highlights some of the main things that must be considered by all the gamers like
having the right equipment, selecting a particular game, having fast internet connection like
HughesNet internet, be in the gaming community and more. These are not the only measure that
matter but for a basic level, these must be followed.
