Underground tanks Pumps for toluene and methanol, to avoid dry run pump
must have to installed at below the tank bottom level, also we have to provide
the low-level auto cutoff provision, low level material cam be transfer manually
with auto control bypass, low level height minimum 500 MM. As well Provision
of 2-meter square Heat exchanger with chilled water provision for condense
recovery.
2. Additional piece is required for toluene and methanol tank men hall and all
top and side nozzles, length is depending on top slab and side wall distance
from tank.
3. Tank yard Chloroform, toluene, methanol and MDS tanker unloading through
deep line to avoid static and fume generation.
4. CI body plug valve to be used for tank yard pump circulation pipe line for
H2SO4 and MDS tank, rest tanks having CI body SS working part ball valve with
PTFE ring, 2-piece flanged ball valve for 1” and above size, bellow 1” 3-piece
threaded ball valve.
5. Strainer provision for all tank yard pump suction line and NRV for pump
discharge line.
6. Diaphragm type pressure gauge, compound gauge and vacuum gauge for
all application.
7. 5 mesh size filter provision for all tank yard storage tank breather.
8. Chloroform, Toluene and Methanol storage tank having 2 MSQ condenser with
chilled water circulation provision to control the vapor loss, Air breather will be
top on condenser.
9. Chloroform storage tank having breather with carbon candle to neutralize the
chloroform smell and toxicity.
10. All tank yard tank working pressure considered Mass + ±20mm WC, design
pressure 1.5 times than working pressure.
11. If there are two tanks for same solvent or chemical in tank yard that tank should
have inter connect form top, and have common pump for transfer and tanker
uploading.
12. All tank yard tank has bottom discharge line for tank drain and cleaning,
a. for horizontal cylindrical tank slop to be maintain towards drain line side
b. for vertical floor mounting tank slop to be maintain in civil foundation
13. Level indicator for tank yard storage tank, all types indicator supply, installation
will be in tank supplier scope
a. H2SO4 vertical storage tank: SS 304 float type level indicator with MS
powder coated scale, Rope SS 304.
b. MDS vertical storage tank: SS 304 float type level indicator with MS
powder coated scale, Rope SS 304.
c. HCL vertical storage tank: HDPE OR PP float type level indicator with MS
powder coated scale, nylon rope.
d. Spend acid vertical storage tank: HDPE OR PP float type level indicator
with MS powder coated scale, nylon rope.
e. Methanol horizontal storage tank: magnetic type deep well level
measuring rod.
f. Toluene horizontal storage tank: magnetic type deep well level
measuring rod.
g. Nitric acid vertical storage tank: SS 316 L float type level indicator with
MS powder coated scale, Rope SS 316.
h. Acid vertical storage tank: SS 304 float type level indicator with MS
powder coated scale, Rope SS 304.
i. RM H vertical storage tank: SS 304 float type level indicator with MS
powder coated scale, Rope SS 304.
j. Chloroform vertical storage tank: SS 304 float type level indicator with
MS powder coated scale, Rope SS 304.
14. Insulation and cladding
a. All reactors, piping and equipment are in GMP area having rack wool
insulation and SS 304 cladding,
b. All reactors, piping and equipment are in Non GMP area having rack
wool insulation aluminum cladding,
15. Measuring tank design and operation
a. 1000 Kg and above mass weight measuring tanks are on leg support,
and less that the 1000 Kg mass tanks will be on lug support,
b. On Off push button shall be provided on all floor nearby relevant
measuring tank, and as well nearby tank yard pump for tanker
unloading and emergency control.
c. All the pipe line connection with measuring tanks having Teflon bellow
Which measuring tanks are with load shell.
16. Powder charging in all reactor shall be through manhole, and any kind of liquid
changing by deep line.
17. Additional accessory is required to ammonia container for charging, it should
charge in close loop to avoid fume generation in production area.
18. Analog turbine type flow meter shall be use for water charge or transfer in the
tank or reactor.
19. Cooling water, chilled water and chilled brine connection to be provided to
all heat exchanger, earlier provision was for chilled water and chilled brine only,
based on discussion while meeting and decided to provide cooling water
provision too.
20. All caustic solution tanks are with mixing stirrer (propeller type).
21. Deep line (deep well) provision for all reactor including caustic solution tank for
temperature measuring.
22. For temperature mapping and monitoring PT 100 type sensor and FLP indicator.
23. Charcoal treatment reactor should have separation at charging point and as
well at sparkler filter area to avoid charcoal dust particle sprayed in other area.
24. HCL storage tank in tank yard vapor line to be connected to HCL scrubber.
25. FBD material transfer to Blender by VACCUMEX powder transfer system.
26. Platform type weighing scale required in blender room for bag or container
27. All measuring tank material transfer line will be deep line to avoid static charge
and evaporation.
28. Tank yard tank RM I and H2SO4 plug valve to be used.
29. Deep line provision for ammonia charging in autoclaves direct from carbo
having arrangement for close connection with deep charging line.
30. Hydrogen charging line with manifold provision at cylinder bank connection,
control valve provision at reactor charging line, SS 304 Schedule 10 pipe line
from manifold to charging line,
31. Separate earthing to be provided to manifold and charging line cylinder bank
trolley.
32. Hydrogen release line having provision of MS 1000 litter water tank with deep
line, and vent line extended above height of building.
33. Potable water lien connection and drain line to be provided to hydrogen deep
line tank.
34. Double Body earthing to be provided to hydrogen reactor and all accessories
use for hydrogen passing.
35. Philosophy for Utility selection for cooling Purpose
a. Temperature control up to 40 ̊ C by CTW
b. Temperature control up to 40 ̊ to 15 ̊C by CHW
c. Temperature control up to 15 ̊ to -5 ̊C by CHB
36. Separate cooling tower provision for vacuum pump
37. Two stage stem injectors for high vacuum requirement.
38. For all reactor and HE will provide diaphragm type compound gauge, and all
other vacuum gauge and pressure gauge analog type diaphragm type.
39. Final product area condition: Rh NMT 60 % and temperature NMT 27 ̊ C
40. Ammonia scrubber and HCL scrubber have been installed at maximum
distance on terrace level.
