PARTICIPANTS FOR THE REGIONAL TEACHERS'INDUCTION PROGRAM (TIP) ORIENTATION

All Others Concerned

1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No.87, s. 2019 Re: Orientation for Newly-hired

Teachers on Teachers' Induction Program and an advisory for the same concern, selected 195
newly -hired teachers are enjoined to attend as participants from this division to the Regional
Teachers' Induction Program Orientation on September 17, 2019,Tuesday from 6:00 A.M to
6:00 P.M. at Legaspi City Convention Center, Airport Road, Legaspi City.

2. The list of participants and the legal bases are attached as follows:

Enclosure No. 3 List of Selected Participants

3. The selected participants to the Regional Teachers' Induction Program Orientation are
requested to attend a conference on September 13, 2019 at Division Conference Hall. The
participants from the First Congressional District shall attend the conference in the morning
while the participants from the Second Congressional District shall attend In the afternoon.

4. All expenses relative to this activity shall be chargeable against school/ local MODE
subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. This Memorandum shall serve as authority to travel of the participants.

Section through the Senior Education Program Specialist /Division TIP Focal Person Bernadette

ORIENTATION OF NEWLY-HIRED TEACHERS ON TEACHERS

INDUCTION PROGRAM (TIP)

To Schools Division Superintendents

1. The Teacher Education Council(TEC)through the Human Resource Development Division

(HRDD) shall conduct the Orientation of Newly-hired Teachers on Techer Induction
Program (TIP)with the theme "TIP: A Step Towards Becoming a Proficient and
Committed Teachers" on August 22, 2019 from 6:00 am-6:D0 pm at a venue to be
announced later.

2. Participants to this Orientation are the following:

• Newly Hired Elementary, Junior High School, ALS and Senior High School
Teachers (Priority shall be the 2019 hired teachers; in case no teachers hired In
that year, slots shall be given to teachers hired in 2018 who have not attended yet
the Orientation); and
• 13 TIP Focal Persons/SGOD Chiefs

3. The following slots are allotted per division.

5 HRDD Team and 13 Division TIP Focal Persons are enjoined to report at the venue a day
before the activfty(August 21), 2:00 p.m. to prepare the things needed for the Onentatron^
They shall be entitled with Compensatory Time-Off(CTO) per Civil Service Commission
(CSC)and Department of Budget Management(DBM)Joint Circular No.2 s. 2004 on Non-
Monetary Renumeration for Overtime Service Rendered.
6 Travel and other incidental expenses of participants shall be charged gainst
division/school MOGE /local funds subject to the usual accounttng and auditing rules and
regulations.
