Principal engineer

As compared to existing solutions, the novel soft actuator will feature: improved torque-to weight and
power-to-weight ratios, improved efficiency and reliability; reduced cost. System development will
comprise: conception of new actuator architectures, detailed actuator design with CAD/CAE tools,
realization of an actuator prototype along with its experimental assessment on a properly predisposed test-
bench

Deliverables:

(i) Design analysis calculations

(ii) Engineering working drawing prepared using computer aided drafting program e.g. AutoCAD and
SolidWorks.

(iii) 3D model of the product prepared using any relevant modeling computer software like CATIA,
SolidWorks.

(iv) Material Type Selected for the product.

(v) Carry out FEA of your design in ANSYS.

(vi) Production Plan
