HEINZMANN recognises that many end users
Driven equipment controls contemplating upgrades will require attention
 Generator control and to related equipment around the turbine. Such
equipment will include filter systems, fuel gas
protection systems
treatment, compression and shut-off, generator
 Driven compressor control protection, damper controls, etc., as well as spare
systems parts and overhaul services. As it is most convenient
for an operator to place a single order with one
 Variable speed control supplier for all aspects of the upgrade, HEINZMANN
systems has arrangements with key subsystem and service
suppliers to undertake complete upgrade contracts.

HEINZMANN is qualified to integrate driven equipment

controls into turnkey control systems using its own
systems or proprietary systems.

THESEUS generator control

For generators, HEINZMANN offers its Theseus
generator control which provides three phase
synchronisation, load and var control and sharing
modes and protective functions. For compressors,
HEINZMANN provides multi-unit recycle controls
incorporating its own antisurge algorithm linked to the
turbine driver’s governor. For pump and propulsion
engines we offer variable speed governors with speed
and load dependent tuning to optimise performance.
