Harley Apparels India is a buying and sourcing agency based in Tirupur Indian Sub-continent. Owned and
developed by dynamic YOUNG heroes who all are technicians in garment fields over 17 years. Harley Apparels
India having enough contacts in supply chain to play a leading role. You’ll find out soon enough that we’re
pretty upright guys who work hard and are easy to get along with. Our communication lines are short and

Sourcing & Product development

Our key step in developing products with our clients is to identify its inspiration so we can take that idea back
to its source. In case it is a piece of fabric, we’ll open it up so we can understand its yarns & fibers, from there
we will recreate it with the help of our expert knowledge of material & manufacturing process.

Greatness of garment construction lies in the details. When you turn our garment inside out, the inside is as
beautiful and the outside. We develop products that meet the eye of high design and simultaneously run
efficiently through production.

Cost plays an important role in business. Our cost engineers kick the role efficiently according to contemporary
market.

We know our vendors’ strength well which helps us to source the precise factory based on the product
category.
We work closely with management teams to understand their business model, near and long-term goals and
set up exclusive teams to service each retailer on a direct basis.

All of our clients have unique sourcing needs, and we build a manufacturing supply chain for their individual
requirements and operating practices in order to meet their goals. Dedicated teams are set up for each of our
customers to ensure the highest level of service and confidentiality. Each team works closely with the buying
teams of customers and works on product development/design to ensure high quality goods that meet the
end consumers’ demands and are on clients’ shelves in a timely manner.

manufacturing is transformed into a bridge.

If sourcing was a human body, with design as its head then production will surely be the belly. We believe a
good design job keeps our production happy, it’s like being fed good food. Our technicians at Harley

Quality Assurance

Quality is the integrity of our product. Its starts at design & development stage and ends at packed boxes
labeled, inspected and ready to be shipped. Our focus lies in building quality in the mindset of our sewing

We are a service provider that manages logistics and the complete global supply chain for our customers. We
act as our customers’ eyes and ears in all of the worlds’ markets thereby providing market intelligence to our
retailer partners. Communication links around our global sourcing network creates opportunities to share
knowledge and engage remote partners in design and product development.

Adaptability and Decreasing Lead Times to Allow the Customer to Meet Constantly Changing Consumer Needs
SUSTAINABILITY

India has an extensive textile & apparel industry, and producing new garments for fast fashion brands results
in waste by the truck-loads, and a serious environmental impact. Cotton growing especially consumes
enormous amounts of water. An estimated 15,000 liters of water is utilized to produce 1Kg of fabric, that
makes less than five t-shirts.

Pre-consumer waste is constantly being generated from manufacturing of yarn, fabrics & garments, and about
15-24% of all textiles produced in the fashion industry ends up in post-industrial waste.

Interested in what happens to waste that is generated from this industry, Harley Apparels India decided to
develop a collection of recycled cotton for more socially conscious brands.

Dedication to the idea and technical expertise of our manufacturing partners put together we introduced the
idea of converting cotton waste into yarn, through the process of ring spinning. This is a system that produces
finer counts of yarn. Ring spinning works efficiently, using a longer staple length of fiber. Whereas recycled
cotton fiber is typically of shorter staple since it comes from breaking of old yarns & fabrics. To overcome this,
we blended recycle cotton with a carrier fiber that is long staple recycled polyester. This blending gave added
strength to our fabrics and at the same time improved a softer hand-feel. It also allowed us to make lighter
weight fabrics for summer season as well as heavier weight double counts for the winter.

Recycling cotton helps reduce the need for virgin materials while also keeping waste out of landfills, thus
limiting the environmental impact of textiles.

We feel that by innovating in the way we recycle our waste; we can create new fabrics that are sustainable
and meet the requirements of aesthetics and functionality without environmental destruction.
