SUBJECT FOCUS : DANCE: Concepts, Techniques and Application
COURSE DESCRIPTION : Physical Education and Health offers experiential learning for
learners to adopt an active life for fitness and lifelong health. The knowledge, skills and
understanding which include physical and health literacy competencies support them in
accessing, synthesizing and evaluating information; making informed decisions; enhancing
and advocating their own as well as others’ fitness and health.
This course on dance includes rhythmical movement patterns; the
promotion and appreciation of Philippine folk dance, indegenous and traditional dances as
well as other dance forms. It consists of an array of offerings with learners can choose from.
NUMBER OF SESSIONS: 20 days (sessions)
NUMBER OF HOUR: 1 hour per day (session)

REQUIREMENTS
1. Wearing *COMPLETE RCC P.E UNIFORM including I.D, and rubbershoes.
2. Attendance and total participation in physical activities.
3. Student who are unable to perform some simple & extreme physical activities should submit a
medical record or medical certificate. Unable-student will be given a different task in the class in able
to meet his/her requirements in the subject.
4. One (1) whole *Index card (each tracks will be given a color coding)
5. In case absent:
a) Due to sudden sickness/injury (especially during PT) the students should submit the following:
official medical certificate, signature-letter from parent (attached with CP number) &
signature-letter from adviser.
b) Other reasons, student should submit the following: signature-letter from parent (attached with
CP number) and signature-letter from adviser.
i. NOTE: You are only excuse in your attendance.Not excuse in any major activities, paper
works, major exams and most especially not excuse in any practical exams.
