ILC 1X1 – CHANGE NOTES

3 Changes in firmware 4.10 3.2 Error corrections

– The Applic A-SD card licenses are detected properly.
3.1 New functions
– The “FLASHCARD_PRESENT” system variable now
– The ILC 131 ETH, ILC 131 ETH/XC, ILC 151 ETH and provides correct information.
ILC 151 ETH/XC Inline controllers with hardware ver- – Recognition of SD cards with a leading 0 in the serial
sion 01 or later support the PROFINET device function number
in the PC Worx software. – The available Modbus/TCP process data width is now
– “Reset to factory settings” PROFINET service support specified in kbytes instead of kbits.
The “Reset to factory settings” service implementation – Error removal (reversing the low/high byte) with regard
corresponds to the “Communication Parameters” to MODBUS TCP access to “Multiple registers”.
option of PROFINET specification 2.3. – The POWER_SUPPLY_XXX variables now indicate
Once the service has been executed, the “Station the correct input voltages.
name” parameter is set to “”. The IP suite parameters
– Improved “ASCI” operating mode when transferring
are set to “0.0.0.0”. All existing communication connec-
files via FTP
tions (PROFINET and TCP/IP) will be terminated. If the
PROFINET service has been executed successfully, – The FB_FILE_WRITE function block now reports an
bit 2 (Reset communication parameter) is set in the error if no more free memory is available.
PND_RESET_FACTORY_SETTINGS system vari-
able.
– The MTU size of the TCP/IP stack can be configured.
The settings are made using the
CPU_Set_Value_Request CPU service.
Value range for the CPU_Set_Value_Request service:

Code 02CBhex
Var Count 0001hex
Var ID 0186hex
Interface 000xhex Ethernet (with x=0)
PPP (with x=1)
(for ILC 151 GSM/GPRS
only)
Size yyyyhex MTU size

– The integrated Modbus TCP client now also supports

Modbus UDP.
The “Connection timeout” parameter is used for setting
the UDP timeout (if no response has been received
within this time, the UDP request will be repeated.) With
regard to time-critical applications, the value to be set
must be significantly lower than the default value (e.g.,
SafetyBridge application, approx. 50 ms).
The “Reconnect interval” parameter is of no signifi-
cance for Modbus UDP.
The MB_ASYNC_RW function block does not support
Modbus UDP.
