Single Fold Bias Tape Neckline

Step 1

Unfold one side of bias tape and pin to RIGHT side of fabric along neckline. My example
had a seam allowance of 3/4" so that is where the open fold needs to be.

Step 2

Sew on the line of that first fold that you unfolded, or slightly inside (towards the neckline).

Step 3
Unpin and fold the open fold back in place, so now all of the bias tape is on the inside.

Step 4

Ironing before sewing is helpful to get the fabric flat and even. The bias tape can show
soemtimes if the neckline moves, so you might want to iron it with the fabric a bit over.
Also, on curves you may need to clip notches or V's

Step 5
Sew along the loose edge of the bias tape

Step 6

You may want to top stitch over your first stitching. (I don't)
