• Sistem di gardu Induk yang mengintegrasikan seluruh fungsi proteksi,
control measurement dan monitoring dengan satu protocol yaitu
protocol IEC 61850. keunggulan dari sistem ini adalah mengurangi
penggunaan wiring, Instalasi dan biaya komisioning.

History
Starting in 1994, an ad-hoc working group “Substation Control and Protection Interfaces” of
IEC Technical Committee 57 elaborated proposals for a standardisation of communication in
substation automation systems.

The following proposals have been presented to and accepted by the National Committees:
1. Elaboration of a standard on functional architecture, communication structure and general
requirements;
2. Elaboration of a standard on communication within and between unit and substation levels;
3. Elaboration of a standard on communication within and between process and unit levels;
4. Elaboration of a companion standard for the informative interface of protection equipment.
