These are my duties and rights at home:

7. I ought to make my bed every day.

Phase 3:

How I imagine my city in fifty years.

The future green city in Colombia

In 50 years, Cucuta will be the green city of Colombia. There will be more cycling and

walking spaces. People will probably work fewer hours so they could enjoy these spaces.

Everything in the city will be more automated and it will work using green energy taken from

solar windows.

An intelligent system will control the public transport. Buses will die off and there will be

special vehicles that will get about all the city to transport people. This transportation might be

free for all the citizens. This mechanism should avoid the use of particular transportation such as

cars and motorcycles and thus the pollution might definitely reduce.

Regarding health services, in the future doctors can have devices that will allow to offer a

better and faster service. They will work with smart technology that process patients’ data to

show how their health is evolving, what medicine or interventions will people need. This data

could be streamed on tables or cellphones so people can closely monitor themselves.

 The economy in Cucuta will be based on building industry that will include eco-friendly

materials and green energy. The manufacturing of these materials will offer to the country

environmentally-friendly alternatives for construction. Also, the trade of electric cars will be

crucial for the economy. Finally, Cucuta will continue being a touristic city, where people can

find out historical information about Colombia.
