LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN PHYSICAL THERAPY

COURSE CODE: LMP 301


COURSE TITLE: Leadership and Management in Physical Therapy

COURSE CREDIT: 3 Units (2 units Lecture, 1 unit Laboratory)


PRE- REQUISITE: Introduction to Physical Therapy

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course describes the principles of management in the health sciences. It comprises topics
on concepts, functions and roles in administration of organizations, programs, and projects in
physical and occupational therapy contexts. The course provides fundamental knowledge that
can be applied in setting up and managing a rehabilitation facility, marketing for rehabilitation
services, as well as taxation.

and evaluating a Physical Therapy and/or Occupational Therapy           
health program or project.
Formulate an appropriate Physical Therapy and/or Occupational
Therapy health program or project in setting up and managing a
          
rehabilitation facility, marketing for rehabilitation services, as
well as taxation.
