WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT CREATIVITY IN TECHNOLOGICAL ORIENTATION

ABSTRACT

Introduction: This paper introduces Super Big Digital, which offers design and build website
service to entrepreneurs.

Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to examine empirical works related to the team
creativity and technological orientation literature. Next, to identify the pattern of technological
orientation used in website information and to determine the significant of new product
development speed.

Methodology: This paper interprets the use of the theoretical framework integrating the team
creativity, Gong et al. (2013), new product development speed, Rindfleish and Moorman (2001)
and technological orientation, Kim et al. (2013). Data was analysed using market survey to
generate a set of service concept represent the concept generation.

Key findings: Team training skills’ and the idea creativity are two important factors in the
design of the website. In technological orientation, the service is always state-of-the-art
technology. Website design and development in business is followed by the current trends and
industry of e-commerce and is faster than the industry norm.

Conclusions: The effectiveness details of website related with the technological orientation and
new product development speed were examined. This paper assists new entrepreneurs to have a
clear understanding of each stage of its consultancy on designing the website services as a new
service launching,

1.0 Introduction

As of 1999, Internet had grown for read-only website without interact feature, today for Web 4.0
is known as symbiotic which is interact user in the same way that humans communicate. Website
development is continually growing and getting up speed around the globes as a tool of business

development especially among entrepreneurs. As entrepreneurs, they had a lot of start-ups


struggling to establish their foot in the market. The agenda of this project is to educate people
being become more creative in creating website based technological orientation and new product
development speed. This study attempts to propose those student and business people who
already aware about the website as daily use on Internet. In this situation, using online platform
is much easier rather than physical platform. This study exposes the participants on how to
develop the website by own creativity for being recognize in the market today.

2.0 Problem Statement


The industry of e-commerce is faster than norm industry, but many people still did not recognize
the state-of-the-art technology. The effectiveness details of website related with team creativity
and technological orientation today. Through the team training skills during the teaching
services, it will increase interest among entrepreneurs to develop their own websites.
This paper intended is to find a new service and develop it to a process which would clarify new
service development and launch process. The final service that can increase the success for Super
Big Digital’s is new service and launches. All new service development and launch process are
mainly focused in problem-solving cases for entrepreneur.

The purpose is to recognize new product development speed that can be clarify as the good
approach during the early stage in entrepreneurships. Next, is to rise the success among the
entrepreneurs in team creativity while gaining new experience in interaction and management
through technological orientation by using the modules given.

2.1 The Purpose of Inquiry and Research Questions


This paper aimed to offer a training and consultancy services on entrepreneurs to develop own
websites. It is focus on effective details of websites which related with the technological
orientation and new product development speed today. Therefore, the research questions for this
paper are framed to:

1. What kind of consultancy that can be offered to empower the creativity in developing the
websites among entrepreneurs?
2. How to increase the acceptance towards participants about the state-art-of technology?
3. How to improve the team creativity in the new product development speed by using the
application of the technological orientation?

This paper will offer some answers to the research questions based on the extensive and analysis
of literature and conduct market survey.

3. Significance of the Inquiry


This paper significant because explore the effectiveness details of website that related with team
creativity, technological orientation and new product development speed today. The market
survey on those issue is important in designing the website service as a new service launching for
Super Big Digital.

4. Summary of Theoretical Framework


The process in creating website service and consultation with team creativity, technological
orientation and new product development speed are examined. This exploration is important to
make it significant for this project paper to suggest a new service development speed and launch
process. Thus, explore the project to create new teaching service using the right platform for
each participants. The theoretical framework explains new entrepreneurs to have a clear
understanding for each stage in consultancy on designing the website service.
This paper integrates that team creativity by Gong et al. (2013), new product development speed
by Rindfleisch and Moorman (2001) and technological orientation by Kim et al. (2013). The
model is appropriate for this inquiry as it allows audience to understand how Super Big Digital
create opportunity in website development either on education or business.

5. Methodology
Our main research focus on how entrepreneur marketing in their product to maintain in market.
The researchers conducted a literature survey among new entrepreneurship who want to learn
create website. Specifically, we address market survey. The data collected using a measure by
seven-point Likert scale and the analysed to generate service concepts represents the concept
generation. Our target market is around all university students such as USM, UKM, UMS and
other university, all businesses or entrepreneur and all schools.

6. Analysis and Discussion

6.1 Background & Literature Reviews


The website is important to business entrepreneur or who have product or service to sell over
internet. It means to be alternative to physical retail stores to sell goods and products. If you
build a website for your business, it can be as benefits. It can be related to the team creativity,
new product development speed and technological orientation. Our data was self-administered
among 151 customers; analysed using descriptive and 122 customers are participated.

In response to the team creativity is together in creating website among new entrepreneur and
other who sell the product or service. It refers to the generation of novel and useful idea by a
team of employees working together. In this proposal, the term team creativity measure four item
which is item are measured on seven-point Likert scale.

6.1.2 New product development speed


According to the new product development, it defined as a firm’s efficient utilisation of new
product alliance information in moving from conceptualisations to the market. In this case, we
make website is the one thing functional in design and has all the necessary graphics, web
solutions such as payment gateway, shopping chart, merchant accounts online and other
solutions. Website must be design effectively so that online shoppers would fine the site a good
store to shop.

6.1.3 Technological orientation


The view on the technological orientation is as the ability and the will to acquire a substantial
technological background and includes behaviours such as investment in R&D and pioneering
with state-of-the-art technologies.
The seriousness of technological orientation can be reflected in to identify and review the pattern
in website development. This makes it important for online business to ensure that their website
pattern is built properly to increase their sales and business potential.

Consultation and designing website service are well-addressed in entrepreneurship to engage into
an opportunity-based and entrepreneurship. As offering consultation and designing website
service by addressing the technological orientation for a new venture opportunity.

The theoretical contribution: integrates team creativity by Gong et al. (2013), new product
development speed by Rindfleisch and Moorman (2001) and technological orientation by Kim et
al. (2013). Contributes to the robustness of entrepreneurial intention and action model in a
Malaysian perspective.

Practical contribution: the offering of a new business as consultation and designing website
service appears to a significant move which can offer access for a new market leader and student
to learn opportunity in entrepreneurship. Teachers/educators in consultation and designing
website service required team creativity, technological orientation and new product development

speed for better understanding of the issue. Contributes significantly in improving the learning of
product ideation and market analysis to enhance new start-up opportunities in campus.
