Separation Sleeve for X-Flow Injection

And Production System
Product Family No. H70042

for further information if required.
Description
The Baker Model Separation Sleeve is an iso-
lation device used in conjunction with the X-Flow
Injection and Production System (Product Family
No. H70044, Tech Unit No. 4896, Flow Control
Systems).
The Separation Sleeve is used in conjunction
with the Baker AOF Sur-Set Lock (Product Family
Nos. H83602/H83603, Tech Unit No. 8243, Flow
Control Systems). The lock locates in the nipple
profile of the X-Flow system, providing positive lo-
cation for the seals.
The Separation Sleeve has three seal units
which straddle seal bores in the X-Flow system.
When installed, the fluids in both the annulus and
the tubing are routed across the packer into their
original bores. This allows fluid injection/produc-
tion to/from the upper zone from/into the annulus,
and injection/production to/from the lower zone
from/to the tubing.
The Separation Sleeve can be supplied in AISI
4140 carbon steel and 13% Cr stainless steel.
The Separation Sleeve can also be run with an
integral pump-out ball seat sub. This will plug the
tubing upon the application of pressure, allowing
tools to be actuated above the X-Flow injection
and production system.

Features / Benefits
• Simple and rugged slim line construction
• One trip to run or pull.
• Premium packing unit assemblies.
• May be run on wireline as per standard Sur-Set Drawing No. A10-333-00
running procedures.
