the biggest development organization in the world such as UNITED NATION use volunteers
from all around the world to increase their effectiveness. The question always remains, how do

for your organization.

IMPORTANCE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY

Volunteers are integral to our society and volunteerism is broadly define as an activity where
someone provides a service for the benefit of a person, groups or organization without any
monetary gain in return. However, there's much more to being a volunteer than giving back.

Volunteering is important because it helps to better your community, it also helps to better
you as an individual. So, it is very important to study about motivation amongst them because
their activities, their way of doing work, leads to a change we want to see in our society.

More oftenly NGOs works comes indeed when government cannot help us. So it is very
important to study their work frame and to encourage them as much as we can because with
every single act it lead us to one step closer to the betterment.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

social causes in various ways. Neither we just can’t be in a hope always to get a solution
regarding a particular problem automatically nor we can wait for a change we want to see in

our society. “BE THE CHANGE” should be the slogan on which every person should work
on it.

So the objectives of the study are as follows:

• To study the peoples awareness on social issues.

• To know the work frame of volunteers on social problems.
• To study volunteer’s moto.
• What inspire and encourages them to be a volunteer in an NGO.
• What are the essential steps volunteers are taking for the betterment of society.
• How volunteers are defining their progress and leading their organization on such a
vast stage.

HYPOTHESES

• In the competitive environments in which they operate NGOs face economic hardship
and upward accountability requirements that impel them to develop in ways that lead
them to resemble either the bureaucratic government agencies they sometimes
replace, or the private sector business to which they are meant to offer an alternative.
• Often they may have to face some other political pressure or many other obstacles
from outside to stop their work which might be harmful for them in various ways.
