GUIDELINES AND POLICIES ON THE PREPARATION OF CLASS/MASTER PROGRAM

TO: Assistant Schools Division Superintendents

Chief Education Supervisors
Education Program Supervisors
Public Schools District Supervisors
Elementary/Secondary School Heads
All Others Concerned

1. To ensure the full implementation of the articulated K to 12 curriculum, the following policies
and guidelines on the preparation of class/teacher/master programs are hereby set effective
immediately this school year 2019-2020 to wit:

a. Time allotment prescribed as stated in DepEd Orders Nos. 31, s. 2012 and 2013 shall be the
basis;
b. A one –hour period for Homeroom/Guidance Program is provided for weekly meeting
between the teacher-adviser and the class;
c. Teacher schedule shall be by learning area (departmentalized) for the primary and
intermediate (elementary level), and secondary level;
d. Class program shall be prepared by the teacher while the teacher and master’s program shall
be prepared by the school principal;
e. Teachers’ load and learning area/program coordinators shall be equally distributed among
the teachers, and
f. Class/teacher/master program shall be printed on a long sized (8 x 13 inches) bond paper.

2. Enclosed are the templates for sample class/teacher/master program and dates/ venues.

3. Participants of this one-day orientation are 1 Master Teacher (Elementary and Secondary),
Department Heads, Assistant Principals, SHS Focal Persons, Elementary and Secondary Heads
and Public School District Supervisors.

4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is hereby enjoined.
