80% Quizzes + 20% Project = Raw Grade (1)

If a student decided not to take the final exam, Raw Grade (1) will be the basis for his/her grade. Otherwise,
this computation should be followed:

70% Raw Grade (1) + 30% Final Exam = Raw Grade (2)

Raw Grade Rating Equivalent:

100-90 (1.00) 89-75 (1.25) 74-60 (1.5) 59-50(1.75) lower than 50 (5.00)

Examination Rules
1. Blank bond paper (A4-size) shall be submitted 1 week before the exam; Write your name on the
upper left corner, your section and course, and your student ID number. Write the subject code of
the upper right corner and the quiz number. These shall be in upper case and must be written
legibly.
2. During examination, only non-programmable calculators are allowed to be used by the students.
Extra sheets of paper are not allowed. Any form of electronic device or smart watch is not allowed.
3. Long hairs shall be tied.
4. Cheating in any form will void the examination and appropriate sanction shall be imposed based on
the student handbook.
5. Taking toilet break is strictly not allowed, you may submit the exam in order to do so.
6. Unnecessary noise is prohibited
7. No standing and talking. A student may raise his/her hand if he/she has a query
8. Submitting examinations shall be within the allotted time.
9. Late comers are welcome but examination time allotted will not be extended unless extended by
the proctor.
10. Special exams are not allowed unless the proctor has decided to grant the requesting student.
11. Students who will be taking the final exam shall inform the teacher at least 1 day before the exam.

Assignments and Projects


1. Assignments shall be submitted on time
2. Softcopy assignments/project shall be submitted to joerobertpaul_lucena@tup.edu.ph with the file
name - SURNAME,(FIRST NAME INITIALS),(ASSIGNEMENT or PROJECT #)
