EARLY PREGNANCY IN THE WORKING AGE
HEALTH BAKUNASE

Background: Pregnancy early childhood / teenage pregnancy is a pregnancy in adolescents
under the age of 20 years should not ripe for pregnancy. Adolescence is a time when pregnancy
is at risk because of early marriage (juveniles) or sex outside of marriage. Among them is a
miscarriage, premature delivery, low birth weight, congenital abnormalities, easy to infection,
anemia in pregnancy, pregnancy poisoning, and death
Objective: This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the incidence of teenage
pregnancy in Puskesmas Bakunase
Methods: This study is a quantitative research with cross sectional study design. The sample
was 46 people of the total population of 52 people with systemic random sampling technique
sampling. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 40 questions. The data
were analyzed using chi-square statistic test
Results: Based on data analysis, the result that There is a correlation between the incidence of
pregnancy knowledge early age is shown with P = 0.024 <0.05. There is no relationship between
family factors with the incidence of teen pregnancy is shown with P = 0.859> 0.05. There is a
correlation between the incidence of media with teen pregnancy is shown with P = 0.014 <0.05.
There is a relationship between environmental factors residence with the incidence of teenage
pregnancy, which is indicated by P = 0.003 <0.05.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is significant influence between the level of
knowledge of the incidence of teen pregnancy. There is no significant relationship between the
role of families with teenage pregnancy. There is a significant relationship between the role of
the media access to the incidence of teenage pregnancy in Puskesmas Bakunase. There was a
significant relationship between the role of neighborhoods with teen pregnancy.
Suggestion: It is advisable to health centers and educational institutions to promote reproductive
health Promkes to the public and conduct advanced research on phenomena related to adolescent
reproductive health in the community.
