Wemancipate ID is a youth-based organization, focusing on combating modern slavery. I'm
responsible in designing the content for social media, and to socialize knowledge about modern
slavery to the community.

Kelas Harmoni, One Day with Difabel (SP2KM UGM)


Kelas Harmoni 's (Harmony Class) purpose was to create understanding between 'normal' and
disabled individuals. My role was to be a volunteer that was responsible of two kids with
disabilities (deaf and intellectually disabled). I had to guide them to paint and plant plants, making
sure that they had a great time interacting with each other, and with the volunteers and the
committees, as well.

AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves. I was
one of the delegates of AIESEC UGM to attend Youth Speak, an event held by AIESEC UPNV which
theme was to chase after one's dream through passions.

The Danger of Cigarettes Campaign @ SMA BOPKRI 1 Jogjakarta (AIESEC UGM and Earth
Hour Jogja)
AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on leadership; Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based
community focusing on restoring the environment. My role was to be a volunteer who socialized
about the danger of cigarettes for the environment to high school students; I represented AIESEC
UGM and Earth Hour Jogja.

Blood Cancer Awareness Campaign (AMSA UGM)


AMSA is an organization consists of medical student that raises awareness about health issue to
the community; many times they open recruitment for volunteers. My role was to be a volunteer,
being a public relation to socialize the danger of blood cancer and how to prevent it to people who
were at Sunday Morning Market around UGM.

Community Service: Cleaned Up Kalicode River (Earth Hour Jogja)


Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based community focusing on restoring the environment. My role was
to be a volunteer to clean up the surrounding area of Kalicode; picking up trash, while interacting
with people who lived around Kalicode. I represented Earth Hour Jogja.

Community Service: Cleaned Up Bantul River (Earth Hour Jogja)


Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based community focusing on restoring the environment. My role was
to be a volunteer to clean up the surrounding area of a river in Bantul; picking up trash and made
soil-based stairs using hoe. I represented Earth Hour Jogja, and worked along side CSR from
Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel.

Coordinator of Decoration and Design in Save the Turtle Campaign (Earth Hour Jogja)
Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based community focusing on restoring the environment. My role was
to be a volunteer in an event socializing the importance of sea turtles perseverance to elementary
students; I was assigned to be the photographer at the day of the event. For the preparation, I was
responsible for all the designs of the campaign. I represented Earth Hour Jogja

Switch Off (1 hour of Non-Electricity) Campaign (Earth Hour Jogja)


Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based community focusing on restoring the environment. I was
assigned as the photographer for the event (volunteer). The event consisted of cultural shows and
performances, and the big event was to switch off electricity for an hour; this happened all around
the world at the same time. Within the switch off, there were performances that were lit up by
flashlights, and did not need any electricity; Earth Hour Jogja is a youth-based community focusing
on restoring the environment, and switch off is the main agenda, to save electricity for the
betterment of the earth.

Coordinator of Decoration and Design Department in Nemukarta IV


Nemukarta is my major's annual event focusing on giving young entrepreneurs platform to
promote their products. Other than stalls, there are also performances by local bands and
performers. I was assigned as the coordinator of decoration and design, thus I was responsible for
all the decoration at the venue, posters, co-cards, backdrop, uniform, etc. I had 6 people helping
me as my team.

Coordinator of Decoration and Design Department in PPSMB Jurusan (Orientation Day for
Freshmen)
PPSMB Jurusan is an orientation day for the freshmen of Department of Social Development and
Welfare. The purpose of the orientation day was to introduce our department to the freshmen,
internalizing the norms and values of our department. I was assigned as the coordinator of
decoration and design, thus I was responsible for all the posters, co-cards, backdrop, uniform, etc. I
had 3 people helping me as my team.

Staff of Creative Design for ‘Prakarsa’ (A National Social and Development Event)
Prakarsa was a national social development event held by Department of Social Development an
Welfare. We invited representatives from universities all around Indonesia who had the same
major as us. This event consisted of discussion, competitions, and field trip. I was responsible of
making the some of content for the event's instagram account, and be a photographer on the days
of the event.

I'm responsible as to anything academic-related, such as sharing materials from the lectures, and

AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves. My
role was to coordinate the exchange participants from Indonesia, such as conducting interview,
selection, seminar, and preparation before they went abroad for internship. My team consisted of
4 people.

AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves. My
role was to design posters to promote internship abroad and to attract exchange participants.

Creative Team of Nemukarta III


Nemukarta is my major's annual event focusing on giving young entrepreneurs platform to
promote their products. Other than stalls, there are also performances by local bands and
performers. I was responsible of designing and making decorations for the stage.

Public Relation of Mahadana Project (Social-Cultural Project Based in Yogyakarta)


AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves.
Mahadana Project was a social-cultural project in which exchange participants from all over the
world joined programs such as teaching English to the locals, learning traditional dances, cleaned
up tourism village, and interacted with local volunteers. The big event was a cultural show in
which the exchange participants took a part, as well. My role was to look for media partners to
boost the big event's information, and also to make captions and descriptions for the content on
AIESEC's social media. I worked alone, because AIESEC is renowned for its leadership
development program; thus each department only consists of one person.

SDGs Campaign (AIESEC UPNVY)


AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves. I
represented AIESEC UGM, joining SDGs campaign held by AIESEC UPNVY; socializing what SDGs
are (Sustainable Development Goals) to people at Sunday Morning Market at UGM.

Giver (Celengan Berbagi)


Celengan Berbagi (Sharing Piggy-Bank) is a youth community that focuses on restoring welfare of
the people in need by saving coins that would later be bought by food or any other essential
supplies. I was a volunteer that had a role to distribute food around UGM to the people in need.

INDONESIA)
AIESEC is a youth-based organization, focusing on developing leadership within one-selves. I was
a delegate from AIESEC UGM joining a leadership conference held by AIESEC INDONESIA. In that
conference I learned a lot about my role as a youth and how to develop leadership within me.

Head of Creative Team in Mozaics Project


I was responsible of designing and decorating the venues of the exchange project; Taiwan to
Indonesia, my school, Labschool Cibubur Senior High School was the host. The event consisted of
cultural performances, field trips, and discussion.

Vice President of the Creative Team in Art Night (PENSI)


Cravier, is my school annual art night, every year we invite famous local musicians, and there are
also performances by students. My role was to decorate the venue, which was located at Gelora
Bung Karno.

Head Coordinator of English Club


I worked alongside my teacher who was the supervisor of English Club; joining English
competitions representing Labschool Cibubur Senior High School. The club consisted of around
30 students, and we had weekly meetings, usually preparing for upcoming competitions.

Member of Thanks to Nature Community


Thanks to Nature was a youth-community all around Indonesia, and had branches in almost every
school. This community focused on environment and how we as youth could help to restore it. I
was a member of this community, and my role was campaigning through designs and posters.

Head of Asian Student Exchange Program to Taiwan


I was the head of Labschool Cibubur Senior High School in Asian Student Exchange Program to
Taiwan. There was a competition at the end of the exchange and the topic was unsung heroes in
which we had to collaborate with the Taiwanese students. We decided to bring up our national
heroes such as Butet Manurung and other national heroes from Taiwan in our presentation
against other teams from Asia. We won the Gold Award.

Enumerator at Center for Tourism Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada
The research that I'm involved in is about tourists' behavior in Borobudur, Prambanan, and
Special Region of Yogyakarta. I'm responsible to distribute and collect 200 questioners in a span of
2 months for the aforementioned quantitative research.

I'm responsible for designing posters and social media posts of GEO FISIPOL , and also responsible
for the events held by GEO FISIPOL UGM.

Like its name, Cross-Cultural Understanding Club (CCUC) has an objective introduce Indonesian
cultures to the foreign students. My responsibility is to hold programs and events, in which the
international students can be involved in, such as museum tour, workshops, language course, etc.

Vice Coordinator of International Conference: Social Development in Asia
This event was held by Department of Social Development and Welfare, Faculty of Social and
Political Sciences in Universitas Gadjah Mada. The objective of this event was to gather
international students, researchers, and academicians to discuss and share about the social
development issue in Asia. I was assigned as the vice coordinator, working alongside my lecturer
to prepare for this conference, by designing the promotional tools, writing and responding to
emails, and supervising the preparation and the days (2 days) when the conference was held. In
result, more than 200 participants attended, and we invited notable speakers such as Professor
Manohar Pawar (President of the International Consortium of Social Development), and Dr
Stephen Leigh Miller (Visiting Professor at Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UGM).

Best Video Award, Global Summer Program (Singapore Management University)
I won the best video award for the SMU Global Summer Program (GSP) competition. The topic of

Top 5 Photo Competition, Global Summer Program (Singapore Management University)


I won one of the awards for the Top 5 Photo Competition held by SMU during Global Summer
Program.

Indonesian Delegate for Uttarkhand Sustainable Development Festival 2018, India


Chosen delegate of Indonesia to attend Uttarkhand Sustainable Development Festival 2018, India.
During the event we discussed about SDGs and how to implement them in each of the delegate
country. This event consisted of discussion, presentation and networking.

My picture about my contribution in restoring children's welfare was selected and displayed at
#TemuNasionalRemajaIndonesia (Indonesian Youth Forum). I represented Daerah Istimewa
Yogyakarta.

My photograph was selected as one of the top photos from hundreds submission (Asia-Pacific),
displayed at the United Nations Conference Centre, Thailand, from 29 May to 1 June 2017:
Photography Competition. My photograph was about the social condition in Indonesia; I was the
only Indonesian chosen to win the competition.

Selected as Indonesian Delegate attend Students Opposing Slavery Annual Summit in


Washington DC, USA
Through video campaign (about my fight against modern slavery) and data selections, I was
selected as a delegate from Indonesia to attend Students Opposing Slavery Annual Summit in
Washington DC, USA (June 26-June 30 2017); fully funded.

Winner of Holiday Photo Competition in Social Development and Welfare, UGM (August 2017)
I was selected as the winner of holiday photo competition because my activity during holiday was
considered as the most productive and positive; my activity was joining an international summit
in USA, representing Indonesia.

Selected Winner in Writing for Indonesia, Commemorating its 72th Independence Year
Competition, held by Indonesia Berbicara
My poem about Indonesia was selected in a writing competition held by Indonesia Berbicara. I
competed with hundreds others poets.

Selected Winner in #VlogCompetition held by Directorate General of Civil Aviation of


Indonesia activities held in Raja Ampat, Papua.
My vlog was selected as one of the 3 winners of in #VlogCompetition held by Directorate General
of Civil Aviation of Indonesia. As the prize, the winners were sent to Raja Ampat, Papua, to vlog
about Civil Aviation of Indonesia.
Selected Representative from Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta for Zetizen National Summit in
Surabaya held by Jawa Post
Through data and interview selections, I was chosen as one of the 5 representatives from Daerah
Istimewa Yogyakarta to join Zetizen National Summit in Surabaya held by Jawa Post. In that
summit, we learned more about Indonesian cultures, because there were 5 representatives from
each province in Indonesia as participants; we also learned more about leadership, positive
actions, and publication.

Honorable Mention Short Story Competition (Tin.Lit )


My short story, 'Through You', about love was chosen to win the honorable mention award by Tin
Lit. I competed against hundreds of authors in Indonesia.

'Mahasiswa Berprestasi' (High-Achieving Student) of Social Development and Welfare


Through data and interview selections, I was chosen as a representative of Department of Social
Development and Welfare in High-Achieving Student of FISIPOL UGM Competition.

Best Performance in 'Mahasiswa Berprestasi' (High-Achieving Students: FISIPOL UGM )


I was rewarded a best performance award during Grand Finale of High-Achieving Students of
FISIPOL UGM. The topic I was presenting was about 'Creating Institutional Entrepreneurs through
Voluntarism Activities Based on Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia'. I was the
representative of Department of Social Development and Welfare.

KAPSTRA (Student Council of Social Development and Welfare) Appreciation Award


I was rewarded with an appreciation award by KAPSTRA, because of my contribution in activities
outside of campus representing Department of Social Development and Welfare.

Invited to Vlog with Minister of Transportation of Indonesia


I was invited to vlog with the Minster of Trasportation of Indonesia in #JumpaSobatAviasi event
held by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Indonesia, as an envoy of aviation.

I was selected as one of the winners of UNICEF and Indomaret Photo Contest in which I had to
post a picture and write captions regarding my fight for children's welfare.

I represented Labschool Cibubur Senior High School, winning the first place in an English Poster
Making Competition, against participants from other schools located in Bekasi.

I was selected as a participant to join a national event in which I had the opportunity to live in a
painter's house with other 9 participants, learning more about art from the master. Getting
selected had made me receive an award of appreciation from the former Ministry of Education,
Anies Baswedan.

I represented my class, winning English poetry competition in which I created the poem also read
it out loud.

My team which consisted of 3 people, represented Labschool Cibubur Senior High School, winning
against other schools located in Bekasi.

I represented my class, winning a creative poster design competition against 20 other students.
The media that I used was unconventional, such as feather, beads, and other accessories.

Resource Person (Speaker) at Gathering Night: Organization of Humanity FISIPOL UGM
I was invited by the Organization of Humanity of FISIPOL UGM to share knowledge about modern
slavery. In addition to the sharing session, there was also a discussion session where the students
of FISIPOL UGM expressed their critical opinion on the issues. The students were very enthusiastic
because apparently, many of them did not understand that modern slavery is highly correlated
with what we do, especially buying and selling activities.

Resource Person (Speaker) at SMP Tumbuh Yogyakarta
I represented Wemancipate ID as a speaker to share some knowledge about modern slavery issues
to Tumbuh Junior High School in Yogyakarta (around 30 students in total). Aside from that, a
workshop was also held where the youth were encouraged to write letters and make postcards to
support modern slavery survivors, and elaborate their understandings about modern slavery.
Wemancipate Indonesia is a youth organization focusing on combating modern slavery. This
organization was initiated by youths from 5 cities across Indonesia.

I represented Earth Hour Jogja to socialize about the danger of cigarette butts for the environment
to the high school students (around 20 students in total). Earth Hour Jogja is a community in
Yogyakarta, which focuses on restoring the quality of environment through real actions such as
planting, and socializing.
