Procedure:
1. To open the window, choose “WQ Signal Graph” in the “WCDMA Graph” menu.
The history of each result can be identified by line type graph with displaying the
moving trace of signals for 1 minute and the instantaneous value of the parameters
can be monitored on the upper side of each graph.
Field Description
Power (dBm) Received and Transmitted power of test phone in dBm unit.
RSCP Received Signal Code Power of CPICH channel with PSC.
Block Err Rate Block Error Rate of each transport channels and averaged
value of all transport channels, from 0 to 100 %.
SIR Signal to Interference Ratio in dB unit.
TPC History This record is generated every second with the samples that
are collected once every 10ms with a simultaneous process of
accumulating averaging.
PPP Throughput PPP Layer throughput in Kbps
APP Throughput Application Layer throughput in Kbps. Among the received
payloads, only the payloads Acked by the recipient are
calculated.
RLC Throughput RLC AM SDU throughput in Kbps.
Finger Finger Ec/Io
Spreading Factor Uplink/Downlink OVSF Code and Maximum bit rate.

List Search Graph window displays searching result for each pilot sets (Active,

The contents of the window will be updated whenever list search information is sent
from test phone to XCAL-W. The color of each line or cell information in text format can
be configured by “Cellsite Color Setting” function in “Settings” menu.
Option Window
Procedure:
1. To open the window, choose “WQ List Search” in the “WCDMA Graph” menu.
2. To monitor PSC list displayed in a line type graph, double click on the graph
and the following dialog box will pop up on the screen.
Field Description
User defined Active Sever Shows the number of PSC that satisfies user condition.
Count The condition can be set by clicking the ”Setting”
button.
- Different level: The difference from Best Ec/Io in dB.
- Ec/Io threshold: The minimum required Ec/Io level to be
satisfied.
Step1 Search window displays step1 search result by which the Peak values and the
PSC position of the Primary Synchronization Channel are identified.
Procedure:
The update occurs upon every initial acquisition and upon receiving a new
neighbor list. The PSC Position is defined within 2560 chips.

Lock Lock status consists of 4 bits (0000 to 1111), each bit
shows the lock status for each lock threshold.
1st bit: Power control bit lock.
2nd bit : Data combining lock

window and then the following “TA Graph Settings” dialog box will pop up.

3. In order to display the CELL name on graph, “BTS.ini” file should be created
that includes CELL information. Refer to the “BTS.ini” creation in “WQ List
Search”.
Delay Graph window displays bar type plots of delay information for active,
monitored and unlisted (or detected) signals of the test phone with signal
power level relative to the time offset in chips.
Procedure:
The contents of the window will be updated whenever new delay information is
transferred from test phone to XCAL-W.
The color for each PSC can be configured by “Cellsite Color Setting” function
in “Settings” menu.

window and then the following “Delay Graph Settings” dialog box will pop up.
2. Change the values in the “Delay Graph Settings” to be appropriate and then
click “OK” button.

The Contents of the window will be updated whenever there are access
attempts from test phone to network. The X axis unit is 20ms.
