THE COMPANY AND ITS BUSINESS

This chapter will discuss about the start-up plan of the company and the

ownership of it. It also includes where we have to put the proposed stall for the

business. This will state information about how the company works and the

products offered.

Introduction

Business is an organization where people work together. In a business,

people work to make and sell products or services. Our product, “Way Mango-ol”

is a series of unique mango recipes that is introduced in Polomolok. “

Our product is very affordable to everyone. With the uniqueness of our

recipes, our customers will surely love our product.

Most of us Filipinos love to eat fruits especially when it comes to mango

recipes that are why we named our product as “Way Mango-ol” because we want

our customers to be satisfied of what they are eating especially if it is affordable

and hassle-friendly.

In the business industry, we meet many kinds of competitors that’s why

we make our own market strategy. One of our plans is to create a page on social

media wherein we were going to posts our products so that people who are

always active in social media will see or recognize our product. We will also

make flyers to invite other costumers so that they will get to know about our
product. Those strategies will help us to compete with the other food businesses.

We are aiming for the success of our food business here in Polomolok.

Way Mango-ol will be owned by John Rex Lapiz and Jessa Mae Kulan in
partnership with its owners. This business will be the first branch in
Polomolok. This business will be suitable for those people who love to eat

C. Company Location

“Way Mango-ol” is located at Gaisano Grand of Polomolok. The goal of

this business is to create a center of attention to the students and also the

teachers inside the campus. Currently the enterprise can settle 10 customers.

The enterprise will be renovated because of the customer’s demand.

D. Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as

inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images

used in commerce. Intellectual Property is protected in law by, for example,

patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or

financial benefit from what they invent or create. By striking the right balance

between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system

aims to foster an environment in which creativity and innovation can flourish.

The company logo is simple but attractive. Way Mango-ol will be the best

choice for those people who love to eat mangoes. The logo design of Way

Mango-ol was inspired through the costumer’s attractiveness towards the

products and the toppings represent the preferred choice of the costumer. The

name itself signifies the tastiness and deliciousness of the products that would let

the costumers be at ease when in terms of the prize because the products are

affordable, inexpensive as well as better than the other products.

In order to protect original business ideas (includes innovative ideas, logo,

tagline, stall design and packaging) against unlawful imitation, this will be

registered in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and will patented in the

intellectual Property Office (IPO). This is essential in safe guarding the

confidentiality of our product.

has excellent ratings since then. There are various investments and aside from

that the investors are confident enough to invest because the place is vigorously

from previous ratings.

Mango has been the world’s selling fruit. This fruit has many usages and

has unique aroma that would encourage the sellers to try using it. With the

advertisement online, it will be the paramount source to achieve various

costumers. With the business, Way Mango-ol work is done through

manufacturing the mango efficiently. This is to lessen the budget being

purchased by the costumers than being disused. Yet as the business is in, there

are more than technological innovations and it can come only through a modern

innovations and higher level of opportunities.

The Polomolok is the ideal place to start a small business. Aside from

having its potential when it comes to business, there is a corresponding help
