Based on the gathered jurisprudence, there appears to be a manifestation of
various interpretations and appreciation of the Supreme Court in each and every cases based on the ground of gross immorality. Thus, the following enumeration tends to benefit the Court, the Lawyers, and above all, the Legal Profession.
I. To Adopt a Model Code
A model code could be promulgated and adopted by the Philippines to
set standards as to grossly immoral conducts. This code could set as a guide for lawyers, so that they would be aware of the acts prohibited and what conduct to avoid.
II. The Use of Psychometrically-sound Device
Psychological assessment contributes important information to the understanding of individual characteristics and capabilities, through the collection, integration, and interpretation of information about an individual.
III. For the Supreme Court to set the standard in the process of disbarment and suspension of Lawyers on the ground of gross morality.
a. For the Supreme Court to impose a uniform penalty by establishing a
schedular standard bearing the corresponding period of penalty based on the gravity of the offense.
