Definition Text Procedure

Procedure text is text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of
actions or steps.

Generic Structure of Procedure Text

Goal: provides information about the purpose and objectives of the procedure and predicts a conclusion.

Materials: contains a list of materials or materials needed to carry out a procedure or steps.

Steps: list the sequence of instructions / activities to reach the destination in the correct sequence of steps.

Result: The result of a series of steps that have been carried out.

Example;

material

2 mangoes (make sure the mangoes are ripe)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Sweetened condensed milk (to taste)

White water (to taste)

Ice cube or shaved ice (to taste)

How to make

Peel the mangoes then wash with clean water. Cut mango flesh according to taste.

If the mango has been cut into small pieces, puree in a blender with water.

Add sugar, sweetened condensed milk and a little ice to the blender. Blend until the mango flesh is completely
smooth.

If the mango is smooth, strain the mango and serve it in a serving glass.

Add ice cubes to the glass and also add milk on top.

Mango juice is ready to be served and enjoyed with your beloved family.

Ingredients:

 2 oranges peeled off

 Ice cubes

 Sugar

Steps:

 First, put oranges and ice cubes into a blender.

 Second, turn on the blender. Wait until the oranges and ice cubes dissolved.

 Third, put 2 spoonful of sugar into the blender and turn on the blender 15 seconds.

 Fourth, pour into a glass.
