1.1 BACKGROUND
Industrial work practice is a method of high school student learning to get to
know the business world before they plunge directly into the actual business
industry. Industrial work practice is a form of implementing a dual system of
education that gives high school students experience about the business world
and or the industrial world.
The holding of industrial work practices held by SMK Negeri 2 has provided a
very useful experience for students to add insight and experience in the actual
work world, but also aims to make students understand and apply the
knowledge gained during industrial work in the past. will come.

the rules and procedures for using tools that I didn't know about, and I learned a
lot about them. I study the rules and adjust my hours of activity to the company
where I practice industry work.
2. 2 Second Month
This month I started to learn about 250 hour service, 500 hours, 1000 hours
,2000 hours and many others, I was also taught how to move a particular unit and
how to drive it even though I didn't bring it myself, I have a good field
companion, always explaining in language that is easy to understand so that I
easy to accept his knowledge.
2. 3 Third Month
In this last month I tried to solve the problem from the unit itself but still
accompanied by my companion such as adjusting the undercarriage, fixing the
track link and dismantling the track shoe, replacing the spring, opening the
suspension. When servicing the unit in progress, I am only allowed to pay close
attention and not disturb the mechanics that are working. sometimes I also help
other mechanics do something.
CHAPTER III
COVER
3.1 CONCLUSION
Learning in the world of work is a strategy that gives participants the opportunity
to experience the process of learning through direct work (learning by doing) in
real work, by carrying out Industrial Work Practices, we will gain useful
knowledge and experience of being in the real industry world . Learning industry
is different from in school, we will do actual practice and will be guided by mentors
by the industry / agencies that seem to be a substitute for our teachers in school
and therefore, we must obey the regulations in the industry and maintain good
name, we also maintain the good name of our school with time discipline, neatness,
honesty, being serious, always listening to the instructions given by the mentors
and sticking to each of us.
3.2 SUGGESTION
b. It is better for field counselors from each department to carry out their
duties and obligations as mentors better.
c. Choose cadets / I who are more suitable for implementing Industrial Work
Practices in leading companies.
