Give three observations / suggestions to improve the overall teaching – learning experience in your
institution. *

1. Only apporaches are given. How to apply that approach is not being
taught. ex : algorithms are explained. But why this algorithm only? Why
not any other? How to apply it practically are not discussed.

2. Lack of outreach. Students rarely get to interact with other

colleges/institutions.

3. Those Students who want to do something else, additional to the

college curriculum are never appreciated neither supported much.
Transformed by the teachers, Attendance has been the prior issue of
students rather than self development.

4. Few faculties are not good. Also, faculites threatens students if the
attendance is not maintained,assignments not submitted before the
deadline, etc.
Instead of a standard protocol of evaluation, some faculties have their
own way of evaluation, and threatning the students. This is not
appreciated.

Threats given by the faculty are "i will fail you in internals"etc. In short,
*My life My Rules* is the approach of a faculty for their job.

Note : This is only done by a few faculties. Rest of the other faculties are
very good and supportive.

Only one sugesstion.

The reading hall of the central library of the BVDUCOE, Pune has switch
boards of one side of the wall while.. The benches/tables are fixed at
opposite side.

Its very frustrating while so many plug points to use but can't use as they
are attached very far from the tables/benches.

Two/three relevant observations about research opportunities *

Funds are not granted even when there is a national level event in which
students are selected for the final rounds held in some other city/state.

I designed an algorithm for prime no.s.It has been registered by the

CopyRight Office, Delhi. It was a type of research work only but no
attendance were given to me. I had to miss many lectures to continue the
work.
