-So the Earth formed around 4.5 billion years ago.

It is one of four rocky

planets on the inside of the Solar System. The other three are Mercury,
Venus and Mars. The large mass of the Sun makes Earth move around it,
just as the mass of Earth makes the moon move around it.And did you
know that the distance of the Earth from the sun is about 149.6 million km.
-In geology, a crust is the outermost layer of a planet. The crust of the
Earth is composed of a great variety of igneous, metamorphic, and
sedimentary rocks.
-So igneous rocks, also known as volcanic rocks, are formed at the
crust's surface as a result of the partial melting of rocks within the mantle
and crust. Igneous rocks cool and solidify quicker than intrusive igneous
rocks. They are formed by the cooling of molten magma on the earth's
surface.
-Then a metamorphic rock is a type of rock which has been changed by
extreme heat and pressure. Its name is from 'morph' (meaning form), and
'meta' (meaning change). The original rock gets heated (temperatures
greater than 150 to 200 °C) and pressured (1500 bars). ... Marble is a
example of metamorphic rock .
-And Sedimentary rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of
air, ice, wind, gravity, or water flows carrying the particles in suspension.
This sediment is often formed when weathering and erosion break down
a rock into loose material in a source area.
-The continental crust is the layer of granitic, sedimentary and
metamorphic rocks which form the continents and the areas of shallow
seabed close to their shores, known as continental shelves. It is less
dense than the material of the Earth's mantle and thus "floats" on top of it.
-Oceanic crust, the outermost layer of Earth's lithosphere that is found
under the oceans and formed at spreading centres on oceanic ridges,
which occur at divergent plate boundaries. Oceanic crust is about 6 km (4
miles) thick. It is composed of several layers, not including the overlying
sediment.
-The mantle is the mostly-solid bulk/substance of Earth's interior.
The mantle lies between Earth's dense, super-heated core and its thin
outer layer, the crust. The mantle is about 2,900 kilometers (1,802 miles)
thick, and makes up a whopping/HUGE 84% of Earth's total volume.
-Below the lithosphere is a layer of upper mantle called the
asthenosphere. This is made up rock that is fluid and can move. It is this
fluidity that powers the movement of the tectonic plates of the Earth's crust.
-The lower mantle is in between the upper mantle and outer core of the
earth. The lower mantle is the lower liquid portion of the mantle ranging
from 400 miles below the surface to about 1,800 miles below the surface.
... Being so deep inside the earth, the temperature and pressure of
the lower mantle are extremely high.
-The outer core of the Earth is a liquid layer about 2,260 km thick
composed of iron and nickel which lies above the Earth's solid inner
core and below its mantle. Its outer boundary lies approximately 2,890 km
(1,800 mi) beneath the Earth's surface.
-So the inner core is the very center of the Earth, and the hottest part of
the planet. It is a mainly a solid ball with a radius of about 1,220 km (760
mi), according to seismological studies. ... The inner core is more than
5,000 kilometers below the earth's surface
