About the Cuemath Olympiad Program 

 
There are many competitions that school students can take part in. Typically they are 
referred to as olympiads, or talent searches, or quizzes. These competitions test 
knowledge and aptitude that goes beyond what is typically learnt in schools. To answer 
these questions, a thorough understanding of the concepts is needed. But in addition, 
regular practice is also necessary. Students build a strong foundation through regular 
Cuemath classes. For the extra practice that is needed just before such competitions, this 
Olympiad Program is all that students need.

How to make the best of this Program?  

Note on Grade change 
In case your child has enrolled in the Olympiad program for a wrong Grade, you can 
raise a request with your teachers to change the grade of the Olympiad program. This 
grade change will only happen for the Olympiad program & won’t impact the grade 
registered with Cuemath. 
 
 
The best way to use this program is by creating a two-month learning plan (which can be 
squeezed if you don't have 2 months).  
Start by taking the online benchmark test to know the current level of preparation. 
Then, start with the School Math Practice Book. Complete it before moving to the 
Aptitude Practice Book. Complete 1 full chapter every alternate day. Target completing 3 
to 4 chapters each week. 
Once a chapter is solved, use the answer key to correct the work. Expect a few mistakes. 
Ask your child to figure out the mistake and see if they can correct it. 
The School Math Practice Book also has partial paper-based tests. Take those whenever 
you reach that point to track performance. 
The remaining 3 online mock tests can be taken online every 3 weeks. The test report will 
tell you which topics are well understood and which ones need more practice.  
Giving 3 weeks between two online mock tests allows sufficient time to practice the 
topics that need improvement. For additional practice on specific topics, use the Olympiad 
Additional Practice e-Book.

● A report is generated after every test completion, accessible from the Daily 
practice app and Cueteacher app 
● The dates mentioned above are unlocked dates. Students can attempt a test on or 
after the unlock date. 
● All mock tests can be attempted only once  
● The paper-based tests will be OMR based. Students need to fill OMR sheet & 
submit it to the teachers 
○ Our printed practice e-books will include the OMR sheets 
○ Students can also print OMR sheets on A4 papers 
○ To maintain uniformity we have designed the OMR sheets for 50 questions. 
However, all the tests do not contain 50 questions. Please use the OMR 
sheets to mark your answers according to the test. Many tests have less 
than 50 questions. Leave the extra questions unmarked. 
● Students can do the following things on the IMO section of the Daily practice app: 
○ View IMO-based learning plan  
○ See upcoming tests 
○ Download practice e-books (digital copy) 
○ Attempt online tests 
○ View reports for tests completed 
● Printed practice ebooks (School Math & Aptitude) will only be dispatched for 
students who have attempted the online benchmark test.  
● Incase the dispatched ebooks are misplaced or damaged parents can request their 
teachers to buy an additional pack of printed ebooks (School Math & Aptitude) 
from Cuestore priced at INR 99.  
 ● These printed e-books will be dispatched to the teacher’s address only. Parents can 
collect the same from them.
