It is a superb idea to
write on the topic this way, but we need to also understand the importance of rule of law and justice in
society. Without rule of law and justice anarchy spread, whether at the home, office or country.
Claiming ‘a right to rule’ therefore makes sense, nobody from the outside and unconcerned, should tell
an elected official how to do his job. But does this protection extend to those that start looting and
plundering in the course of their duties, especially prime ministers since they cannot be removed
without the consent of the voters, their appointing authority. Just like a non-elected official cannot loot
and plunder or work in a manner that violates rule of law and justice, even if his job description is being
fulfilled, the same limitations should also be extended to the elected officials.
