In our country the denominations of origin is a distinctive sign that seeks the
identification of those products that are influenced by the nature or intervention of
the activity of man with respect to its production of the geographical area where it
occurs, we can say, that these They form a qualitative link to production with certain
peculiarities such as climatic and human characteristics of the place where it has
been produced. It is that through the identification and regulation of these products
by the regulatory bodies create important advantages in the trade to the producer,
favoring the competitive activity of having a unique product in the market; to the
consumer assuring him that he will be acquiring a product with defined quality
standards. The use of the distinctive signs help for the production of agro-mercantile
products; but, although this is a great help for the Peruvian economy, it is not the
only one that can benefit from this identification, since the denominations of origin
cross borders in which they can be protected internationally, in this case the
