Dear Sir

I had given an interview for the Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundation Pegasus Scholarship 2019. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to the final, nevertheless, I request you to
kindly keep me apprised for any upcoming opportunity.
I have graduated from NLU (Lucknow) in 2016, and have been working as an advocate at Saket district court. I also work as a consultant (competition law & M&A) at
Competition Advisory Services (I) LLP.
Thanks & Regards

Dhanendra Kumar

I am happy to commend Devanshu’s candidature in the Master’s program of higher studies and scholarship. Devanshu has been working with us in COMPAD as an Associate
Consultant (full-time and part-time basis), since May 2016. During this period, he has impressed with his dedication, sincerity, and hard work. I have always found him as a
bright and intelligent individual, ever willing to learn and improve further.
After my superannuation as Chairman, Competition Commission of India in 2011, I founded the Consultancy firm – Competition Advisory Services (I) LLP for providing
consultancy in Competition Law and other regulatory matters, and he has provided valuable analytical support in several matters. Devanshu has also been assisting me in
many projects for advising, among others, the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) as Hony Principal Advisor, and Chief Mentor for the School
of Competition Law and Policy- the National Centre of Excellence in Competition and Regulatory Affairs.

I have closely seen Devanshu at work, not only in Competition Law and in related regulatory issues, but also matters related to government policies relating to investments
in India and ease of doing business – in which I have been keenly interested as former Executive Director for India at the World Bank in Washington DC. I was always struck
by his single-minded devotion to the work assigned to him, and constant pursuit of improvement and willingness to learn. It is in this context that I would earnestly encourage
Devanshu to pursue his dreams and continue to hone up his skills, rise further, and realize his true potential.
I have full confidence that he will be able to prove an excellent candidate for the Scholarship to enable him to undertake the goals of higher studies. I greatly encourage
Devanshu to pursue his dreams and I firmly believe that he will achieve remarkable success and realize his true value.

I wish him all success.

APARNA MAM

It is a pleasure to recommend Devanshu Gupta for the Chevening Scholarship.

I have known him for more than a period of 5 years, during law school, as his teacher in many subjects and seminar courses in international humanitarian law and competition
law. He has impressed me with his dedication, sincerity, and hard work. I have always found him as a bright and intelligent individual, ever willing to learn and improve.

I had last regular contact with him during re-evaluating law school subjects.
He demonstrated a vision that had made a positive impact on law school academics. It is rare to meet a student who is so mature, organized, and results-oriented. He has
provided valuable analytical support in several matters.

During the class, aside from being a vibrant participate, he raised several well-researched questions. His ability for original thought and capacity to articulate questions
accordingly was particularly impressive.
Outside the classroom, I had seen him working tirelessly for the student welfare committee. He shared a harmonious relationship with teachers and staff. His single-minded
devotion to the work assigned to him and constant pursuit of improvement and willingness to learn are some of his abilities that are particularly impressive.

I have closely seen Devanshu at work and I am certain that he will continue to exhibit the same dedication during your programme, as I have seen him as my student. He has
the ability to grasp quickly and study intelligibly. I have full confidence that he will be able to prove an excellent candidate for the Chevening Scholarship.
I feel very confident that Devanshu will be successful in all his future academic pursuits. It is in this context that I would earnestly encourage Devanshu to pursue his dreams
and continue to hone up his skills, rise further, and realize his true potential.

Pankaj Sir

I am happy to commend Devanshu’s candidature in the Master’s program of higher studies and scholarship. Devanshu has been working with me in the Supreme Court of
India as an Associate Advocate, since May 2017. During this period, he has impressed with his dedication, sincerity, and hard work. I have always found him as a bright and
intelligent individual, ever willing to learn and improve further. Over the past two years, he has assisted me in many cases in the Supreme Court of India.

As a member of several NGOs, I have seen Devanshu being involved in a wide range of social activities, right from volunteering to providing legal aid. He has always impressed
me with his energy and compassion towards social issues. Devanshu is a highly capable person, and more importantly, he has a desire to do good for the community at large.
His personal character makes him an ideal candidate to study abroad.
