Capacity Trailers

 Intelligent Design for maximizing Volumetric Capacity

 Light Weight for maximizing Payload

 Providing complimentary solutions for improving Logistics and Truck-Trailer

Utilization/Efficiency Improvement

 Robust Design and use of proven components for maximizing

 Reliability
 Safety
 Durability
20
Trailer Highlights – Strong & Flexible
Chassis Beam

 Beam is made plates of ST- 52.3

grade/ High Strength Steel flats which
is stronger / Lighter than commercially
used steel.
 Yield strength of material used is
greater than 370 N/mm2.
 Beam is strengthened where
necessary to carry appropriate load.
 Extra padding plate provided through
out the beam from turn table to first
axle to take care of “Indian road
conditions”
 Being fabricated:
- Weight of beam is less as
compared to Rolled beam but
stronger
- Is more flexible and can absorb
shocks better
21
Trailer Highlights – Reinforcing Main
Chassis for Indian Conditions

 On Flatbed trailers a reinforcing

boxing plate is provided to take
care of point loads such as heavy
steel Coils

 The boxing plate ensures

additional strength at critical load
bearing points, reducing effect of
fatigue providing longer life for the
trailers
22
Trailer Highlights – Tailored Braking
Systems for enhanced safety at high speeds

 Proven ABS Braking provided. Braking

efficiency tailored with that of the Prime-mover
 Air Tank Capacity
 Quick Release Valves
 Slack Adjustors (optional automatic)

 Equal length hoses are used to keep equal

pressure on boosters for all axles.

 This ensures that the air pressure reaches the

respective boosters at the same time and
hence synchronized breaking on both sides
tyres

 This enables more coordinated braking, better

tyre life and increased driver driving confidence
and comfort.
23
Trailer – Additional Options Available for High
Efficiency and Utilization

 Air suspension trailers with lift axles

- Improved drive
- Protection of sensitive and fragile goods transporting
- Better fuel economy
- Longer tyre life

 Axles with 2 lacs kms no hub greasing requirements

- Special grease
- Special design and construction

 ABS / EBS braking system

 Load Sensing Valves

 Automated Tyre Pressure and Monitored Inflation System.
24
Trailer Highlights – Compliance with CMVR
and ARAI regulations

 CMVR required RUPD (Rear under

protection device) and SUPD (Side under
protection device) are provided as a
standard feature

 This improves safety of trailer, safety of

other users. It also improves trailer
aesthetics

 Special self reflecting radium stickers are

provided on the RUPD and on the side of
the trailers to improve visibility and hence
safety of the trailers and the load being
carried
25
Trailer Highlights – Proven, Safe and
Reliable Component Suppliers

 Axles: Trailers provided with professional axles made by reputed axle

manufacturers like ADR, BPW, York etc. Axles come with their respective
warranties and guarantee.

 ABS: Wabco

 Wheel rims from Wheels India.

 Tyres CEAT, JK Apollo, Continental Tyres, etc.

 Electricals – MINDA

 Kingpin – 2”
26

manufacture and sale of our products:
- Trailers
 ARAI Approved
- Tankers
 Factory Approval from Explosives Department
 CCOE approval from DOE Nagpur
27

Trailer Highlights – Summary

 Lowest tare weight trailer resulting in maximum legal payload –

typically 0.5 to 1T more legal payload resulting
- Increased revenue
- Lower fines
- Better fuel economy
 Reputed trailer components used in axles, rims, brakes, electricals
etc resulting in:
- Better tyre life
- Better braking
- Increased safety and driver confidence
 Proven and standard automotive manufacturing processes resulting
