III. PROCEDURE:

Preparatory Activity
Greetings Good Afternoon class!
Checking of Let us check the attendance. Say present if your name is called.
Attendance
Seat Arrangement Students, arrange your seat.
Classroom Rules (………….)
Other matters Pls. copy on your notes the contents of the visual aid while at the same time listen to the lecture.
Preparatory Activity
ELICIT  Review of Previous Lesson (Plant Reproduction and Relationship of Structures: Seeds Fruit
and Flower)
 Introduce overview of objectives and present list of words to be encountered later on the
discussion.
Words to ponder:

 Asexual Reproduction Gametogenesis
 Sexual reproduction Hermaphroditism
 Fission Fertilization
 Fragmentation
 Parthenogenesis

ENGAGE
1. The learners will be divided into four groups.
2. The learners will be shown cards containing the images of the different ways of animal
reproduction. Each group will be tasked to identify which are considered sexual reproduction and
which pictures are classified as asexual. The activity will serve as a review of the lesson/concept
learned by the class about animal reproduction on there earlier years in junior high school. Each
correct answer will be rewarded by a merit. After the 5-minute activity, every group will present their
answer in front of the class.
3. Remind the class about the standards of group activity.

Guide Questions for Reporting:

1. What served as your guide in identifying the classification of the animal reproduction showed in
the pictures?
2. From the pictures and after the brainstorming you have done as a group, make a conclusion about
their work on the activity.

 What possible process could have taken place or takes place on the pictures showed?
EXPLORE The class will identify what possible process/es are involved on the ways of reproduction as showed
in the pictures. The class will be utilizing their stock memory and idea to connect one process to
another. There is no correct or wrong answer in this activity for each student are encouraged to make
an in depth thinking and everyone is expected to participate. Each work will be attached to the board
for identification during video presentation.
EXPLAIN Video presentation on the Different Ways of Animal Reproduction and the involved processes on
each classification.
ELABORATE
Discussion Proper of the Lesson
Differentiation Of Asexual and Sexual reproduction
Ways of Asexual and Sexual Reproduction
Sequential Hermaphroditism
Parthenogenesis
(Enrichment of the report through further discussion of words to ponder.)
