OBJECTIVES
Source of Data
Data for this study were collected using a
questionnaire developed by the institute. The
questionnaire was divided into 14 parts that
covered different aspects of an individual .
Sample Selection
The respondents involved in this survey were
people living in the selected rural areas located
in Ambala district. A non-probability,
convenience sampling technique was used to
collect primary data. Each member of the
research team was responsible to collect data
from the individuals via a questionnaire

Statistical Methods
Simple statistical techniques were used to
tabulate the results of this study. The primary
data was collected and analyzed to make the
study accurate , precise , and bias-free . it is a
basic comparative study but not a study that
find the averages but to see the different
conditions of people living in rural areas .
time period
the survey was conducted between 5th march to
11 April in 4 villages only on Tuesdays and
Thursdays after 1:00 P.M. .

This is a study of different EDUCATION LEVEL of the
individuals living in the 4 villages . the study was classified
into different house types as :

CONCLUSION
This is the final conclusion of what we have studied so far in
this segment we are going to study that how the different
things in different region compare to each other and we are
going to discuss it on the basis of the segments we have
studied first of all we will talk about the
HOUSE TYPE :
The holi village in which i surveyed had a majority of pucca
houses (approximately 67% ) but there was a plenty of
minority living in the region and the rest of two categories of
the house type was not seen much and only was in little no.
that showed the progress of the village
HOUSEHOLD ANNUAL INCOME :
the holi village had all different type of people working there
and 62% of the holi's population comes under the below 1
lakh bracket and the 1 lakh -2 lakh bracket and out of all the
people surveyed that is approximately 1200 out of that no.
only 39 people had household income above 5 lakh and 23 of
them reside in holi so holi has both the low income bracket
and the high income bracket so it is a diverse village having
all type of people .

HOUSEHOLD TYPE :
The holi village had many families and most of them were
nuclear families , in holi village almost 75 % of the families
were nuclear families and only second to it was joint families
there was a minority of extended families and the trend being
the same the total average of the 4 villages was like 65 % of
the people surveyed had a nuclear family
EDUCATION LEVEL:
the holi village had many students still pursuing their studies
but there were some people who had already completed their
studies . the illiteracy rate was high in holi but was not
dominating many of the people had a bit of formal education
but only a few had higher secondary qualification and the
illiteracy rate contributed all over the 4 villages and this was
the condition because of the are type
