The relative flight utilization U h , f calculated with the aid of the parameters from Table 14.11
is shown in Fig. 14.4. According to this, aircraft utilization increases with increasing flight
time. This corresponds to experience in practice: a large number of short flights cause more
ground times than a few long flights. Therefore, more flight hours can be flown with fewer but
longer flights.
