I read of your September 17, 2019 posting for a photographer representing YBSPORTS.org with
great interest as I believe I would be an excellent fit for your company. My recent undergraduate
studies in photography at Arizona State University make me as a strong candidate for your
company.

I will be graduating from Arizona State University in December of 2019 with a BFA in
Photography. During my studies, I have focused on obtaining the most current professional
skills associated with photography that include the extensive use of Photoshop and Lightroom;
professional full frame cameras and lenses; online portfolios and editing; professional lighting,
composition, and framing; and working with many different types of people in ever evolving
situations.

In your posting, you specify requirements for the job that involve having a great grasp of
composition and framing, owning professional DSLR cameras and lenses, and having a style that
mixes documentary, lifestyle, and action photography. Through the studies I have completed I
am able to fulfill all of these requirements. I also have the most current and up to date
knowledge of enhancing and retouching images through Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One
and other software programs related to digital photography. I have worked extensively with
digital and analogue cameras and have professional knowledge of the technical operation of
these cameras.

I have extensive experience collaborating with other professionals to achieve a successful and
polished product. I have a flexible schedule and the ability to travel to different job locations. I
am excellent with children and have worked on several projects that focus on youth sports and
youth group activities. Working on documentary, action, and lifestyle projects have been some
of the most rewarding in my academic career.

I believe my current skills and extensive experience with the most up to date technology make
me an ideal candidate for the position of photographer with your company. I am excited for the
opportunity to work with different young athletes and youth sports organizations to achieve
something great that furthers the success of YBSPORTS.org.
