4. SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA
Goal: Ss identify the Simple Past tense and the Past Progressive
tense.
The teacher draws a timeline and explains the gramatical order in 2
CIERRE Simple Past tense and the Past Progressive tense in order to clarify the Student’s Book
use of each tense. Worksheet
The teacher writes te action that was in progress first. Then, writes
the action that interrupted the first action.
The Teacher draws students’ attention to the use of While and When
Ss match the descriptions , After finishing the activity, the Teacher
tells her Ss to use the prompts as a model to talk about their own
strange exeriences.
Goal: Ss create sentences to describe chronological events.
Ss rewrite the sentences using While.
Ss practice,and Watch the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= and ask Ssto write as many
sentences as they can, using the tenses they’ve studied.
The teacher walks around the classroom providing feedback as
required . The teacher Invites her Ss to read their chronological
events aloud.
