4. SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA

Warm up : Category game using Apps

 The teacher motivates her Ss with a category game


 The teacher divides the class into groups in order to have a contest.

INICIO  Goal: Ss Recognize specific information in an interview.
 Before playing the audio , the teacher shows her Ss the TSP (
Transparent Smartphone ) its meaning and the numbers 1,2and 3 are
the prototypes they have developed.
 Ss listen to the first part of the interview and check ( / ) the sentences
they hear in ex. N° 1 on page 42. After that , they share their answers
with their classmates.
 The teacher reminds her Ss the gramatical order in Passive Voice in
Present. After that , the teacher explains the gramatical order in
Passive Voice in Past tense ( Subject + be in past (was/ were + verb (
P.Participle)

 Goal: Ss understand information in an interview


 Before playing the audio , the teacher writes some definitions of the
new words on the board.
 Ss listen to the second part of the interview and write True ( T ) or Markers 1 1/2
False ( F) next to each sentence in ex, n° 2 on page 42 Blackboard
 Goal: Ss rewrite sentences into the Passive Voice ( Past tense) Worksheet
 Ss write the sentences in Active Voice on pieces of paper. Put them in Student’s Book
DESARROLLO a bag or basket .
 Play “ Hot Potato ” The Ss who grabs the hot potatoe take a sentence
from the bag and change it into the Passive Voice.
 The teacher invites her Ss to read their sentences in Passive Voice
aloud.
 Goal: Ss complete the paragraph with the correct verbs to make it
coherent.
 Ss write new sentences ( singular, plural, affirmative and negative
forms) using the words in the Word Bank in ex.4 on page n° 42
 Ss check their answers by having volunteers read them aloud.

 Goal: Ss identify the Simple Past tense and the Past Progressive
tense.
 The teacher draws a timeline and explains the gramatical order in 2
CIERRE Simple Past tense and the Past Progressive tense in order to clarify the Student’s Book
