This is a new composite unit consisting of knitting, dyeing, stitching, embroidery and printing units being erected. I’ve erected Dyeing unit that is planned for 10 tons/day dyeing capacity. This unit is equipped with Scholl dyeing machines. These machines are controlled by Setex 737 controllers and Logimat p160 PLCs. We’ve 8 chamber Ehwah Platinum stanter, Ferraro Compactor, and Bianco open width slitting and squeezing machine. We’ve Santex tubular squeezer, four tumble dryer, one two chamber H-Dryer, three pole dryers, one hydro squeezer and Ferraro tubular compactor, Stitching unit is planned for 600 machines. Knitting unit is planned for knitting of 10-12 tons fabric per day. By the grace of almighty Allah I’ve successfully erected this unit. Now this unit is running from 24th Oct 2013. the use of machines by automatic system by the best use of
Orgatex (Machine controlling soft ware). I’ve designed different processes for dyeing, bleaching and washing by the implementation of that not only time of processing is reduced but utilities consumption has also been reduced. As a result total processing cost and time is reduced and production increased. By the increase in production we have reduced overhead cost also. I’ve also actively contributed in installation of new dyeing
machines in Sapphire Fibers Ltd. (Dyeing) and there start up.
I’ve good command on computers and automated systems. I
can make best use of automated systems in efficient way.
During my job in Sapphire Fibres Ltd. (Dyeing) I’ve used Thies machine controllers 737 XL and 737 and I know to program these controllers very well. More over I am very well aware of different computer soft wares and can make of their efficient use. I’ve successfully completed different trainings like inter departmental communication training and operational training designed by human resource department. Also I’ve completed ISO certification training and WRAP certification training in Sapphire Fibres Ltd. (Dyeing). I’ve attended training workshop on Six Sigma arranged by NPO and PNAC (Pakistan National Accreditation Council) in LCCI I’ve successfully completed my one month ISO-9000 training course offered by Punjab University. I’ve analyzed our recipes in Sapphire Dyeing and reduced consumption of chemicals to save processing cost or in other words to increase profit. I’ve worked for machine modifications. We changed different functions and hardware of Thies high pressure machines to get maximum benefit from our machines. We also made software modifications in Thies’ PLC 737 and 737-XL. After making these modifications we are now getting better results from our machines and control is also improved. Automation level is also increased by these modification In Sadaqat Corporation, I’ve rectified out of order controllers and run dyeing machines through PLC. Total of eight controllers were out of order. I’ve got them rectified and saved about 800000 rupees. I’ve tested all machines and rectify their problems regarding electronics and software in coordination with respective technicians. I am developing new management systems to control inventory in stores. I am also managing administrative issues. By changing of power distribution layout we saved about 500000 rupees. I’ve established new dyeing and quality testing labs in Sadaqat Corporation equipped with latest machines and textile testing equipments to fulfill emerging requirements of modern textile industry. This lab is equipped with high temperature computerized dyeing machines. 60 bottles dispenser. Full automatic washing machine. Tumble dryer, pilling tester, crock meter, light fastness tester, spectrophotometer etc. now we are able to develop new shades in disperse, reactive, vat and direct dyes for fabric and yarn. We can test different quality parameters in-house like GSM, washing fastness to water, perspiration acidic and alkaline, light fastness, stretch of spandex fabrics, strength of fabrics, shrinkage and spirality of fabric and garments etc.
