2. SAFETY MAINTENANCE
(1) ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE
* Whenever doing any repair work on the product, be sure to wear the wristband and
the electrostatic mat with grounding. When replacing any electric components
(Board and Optical engine), it is recommended to touch the electrostatic plastic bag
of the component to the metallic part of the product once before take the
component out from the plastic bag.
(3) Others
* Visually checks the distortion or dirt at the connectors of the power cable. If dirty,
clean off, and if distorted, replace the cable in order to avoid firing by the flush over
phenomenon.
* When plug the internal connector cables or the interface cables, be sure to fully plug
into the connectors unit until it stack to the connector edge.
* Whenever doing removal of parts or repair work on the product, make sure that the
work is done in a clean room, free of dust and dirt in order to keep the optical
element away from dirt.
4. OTHERS
* Any questions on the ELP/EMP-7200's service including supply of the service parts
or contents of the document would like to be contacted to the below address. Any

1.5 Capable TV Signal Mode List
Modes of capable TV Signals are common to ELP/EMP-7200 and 7300.
[Additional explanation]
On air method is shown with Color method-NTSC/PAL/SECAM and broadcasting
standard-N/M/B/G.
*1 SECAM has "L" and "B/G/H" methods. These ones vary each other in respect
of polarity of horizontal sync. signal and voice modulation method.
*2 NTSC4.43 and PAL60 are what are output when NTSC software is reproduced
on VCR of PAL spec. Then the NTSC data is to be output in PAL spec.
NTSC4.43 has transmission method of NTSC and the carrier frequency is
4.43MHz as well as PAL.
PAL60 has transmission method of PAL and the vertical frequency is 60Hz as
well as NTSC.
Either ones have source of M-NTSC so that they have 525 pcs of scanning
line for each.
