Personal Statement

Computer Science is up growing field which is very advanced and its contribution towards
advancement of world is a lots. Many people ask me to choose computer science field firstly I was
not interested but as I start studying the computer science I feel the importance and interest of this
field. Computer science have very important role in this world. Now a days everything is
converting into computer. If you look around every person have smart phones having laptops even
children having games which are basically computer based devices like iPad etc.
Computer science is about programming which is very interesting. I am good in programming and
I love programming. I am familiar with many computer language like JAVA, C sharp, C++, C,
Python, and Android development. Being good in programming its very best field for me to
achieve good goal in this field. My final year project in graduation is also related to programing,
networking and also mobile development. I am good in database which is also a core of the
computer science. I had done work in the database and have experience of that during my
internship. I learnt many thing about database in the field work.
During my internship I have also seen the importance of this field as I saw how much this field
related to social work. Computer science person don’t need to go outside home to find job but he
can easily work sitting at home. Computer science have many different fields and people have
chance to go in any field where they have interest. As I like programing and also interested in
developing so I can choose developing field of computer science where developer do programing
and make robots and many other automatic machinery which are commonly used in the world
now. This field is about entrepreneurship people can easily start their business easily, a good
developer can easily open a software house and starting making software application and easily
earn lots of money from that.
I visited many institute and also listen about many institute in Pakistan and abroad as well. But
honestly I prefer to study in Pakistan firstly then I really love to study in the LUMS. This is the
only institute in Pakistan which give students too many benefits and LUMS is one of the top
university of Pakistan. LUMS environment attract me to study there. It also provide financial
support to the students who can’t afford. LUMS have quality of labs and faculty members. There
are very good PhD Professors teaching and many of them are very well known in the country and
they have very great achievement as well. There also very great facility of hostel. In hostel there
is good environment of study and good security system. There is good discipline of student and
also teacher give good lesson about the discipline. The big reason is that many student from other
country study in LUMS which is very rarely seen in Pakistan but LUMS have this type of good
thing in it. These all qualities of LUMS attract me to take admission in LUMS for further my
education. I am hoping to get admission in LUMS and I will do best in my field of interest.
My aims are high I always go for the big things and also think about the future to do something
special. My aims is to do PhD in computer science and innovate something very important for this
growing world of computer science. My specialty is in programing and I am very much confident
about it. I am sure that I will bring something new in this world of computer science in future.
There are also many aims about the mobile development, during my graduation when I was
studying the course of Mobile development I develop a game and I have been given good score in
my Lab test. Because I was the only student who made it that work help me and motivate me to
innovate in the mobile field as well. I am good in android development and I will also create
application in android as well and also become the good developer of android application as well.
My eyes see very bright future of me towards my aims. I hope so I will achieve every aim of my
life. I will make my good name in the future. In LUMS I will avail every chance to get near to my
aims. LUMS can easily provide me such facility due to which I can easily reach to my destination.

and dedication to my work, will be very useful in a Computer Science course at University, and
help me to achieve my potential."
