The Business Movers (The Human Factors of Business)

I. Introduction

The business movers are the human elements in the business process who

keep business going and answer the issues of who does what in the business

process. Being active elements, they constitute the agent efficient cause of business

either as internal public, i.e, the businessmen and their workers; or as external

public, e.g, the customers, the competitors, the suppliers, the community (family,

school, church and organizations), and government.

II. Summary of the Topics/Topics Digest

The internal components of public have contribution to the success of an

organization. There is an interesting phrase, the human resources of the company or

organization is the most valuable asset, more valuable than any other capital.

Actually, the phrase was not a barrage of cliché. The content of the phrase is having

an expression of the most important implications for improving the quality and

welfare of employees (human resources).

There are many ways you can do to support the development of quality

human resources, for example, through training, informal education, employee

rotation system, promotion, and so on. At least, after joining the organization, they

are getting a lot of knowledge or experience regarding various things. Thus,

1
organizations or companies, become a ‘learning organization’ for each individual

involved or working in it.

On the other hand, the organization is responsible for improving the welfare of

its employees or management. That effort could be done for example through the

application of the system of remuneration, bonuses, allowance, insurance and

retirement program are needed by the employees. Of course there are many other

activities that can be done, which will strengthen the sense of pride from the

employees of the company or organization because their prosperity can be met by

their organization.

III. Recommendations

Businesses should recognize that the people are one of an organization’s

most valuable resources. Therefore, the focus of attention should be on deploying all

of the internal resources (i.e., people, process, and technology) on creating a

corporate culture that defines success through the efficient delivery of impeccable

service to our stakeholder community. Service delivery is the "table stakes" required

to continue to play in the game. It's your people that will determine if your customers

come back for more or seek a better experience elsewhere. Successful businesses

achieve high productivity and quality while ensuring health and safety. Good

technology combined with the best work systems can help to achieve these goals.

The best work systems are based on having a skilled workforce, with well-designed

jobs that are appropriate to individuals’ abilities.

IV. Conclusion

The human factor of business is the ability to communicate with and

understand others. The human factor has proved to be particularly important when

the things aren’t going to plan or when disaster strikes. Such moments come as

surprise, but they show how early phase businesses work and whether the team is

capable of working toward its goal. If the human factor isn’t there, the business will

dissolve regardless of how great the business is.
