AFFIDAVIT

I, DANIEL SORIANO, of legal age, Filipino and a resident of

Barangay Ugac Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan under oath
declare that:

1. At about 11:50 in the evening of June 21, 2019, while fixing

some bottles of soft drinks and was about to close my sari-
sari store, when a group of men riding in a motor vehicle
approached the group of men standing in front of my
store;

2. I noticed that the group of men riding in a motor vehicle

were armed with long metal tube and empty bottles of
liquor;

3. Before the group of men could reach the exact location

where the other group was standing, two of the four men
ran away;

4. The driver of the motorcycle started talking with them and

alighted from the motorcycle immediately thereafter;

5. There and then, they suddenly attacked the two men

who were just standing in front of the store with metal
tube and punched them in their faces;

6. The two men fell down and were kicked and pushed to
the ground and with a loud voice pleaded for mercy but
the hitting continued;

7. Because of fear for my life and for my family, I

immediately padlocked my store and reported the
incident to the police through their emergency hotline.
