Research Objectives

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between time management and

burnout among UM Tagum College Senior high school students. Specifically, this study will be
conducted to seek answers to the following objectives:

1. To assess the level of time management among UM Tagum College senior high school students

in terms of:

1.1 planning in advance;

1.2 prioritizing work;

1.3 test preparation; and

1.4 following schedules.

2. To assess the level of burnout among UM Tagum College senior high school students in terms

of time management:

1.1 emotional exhaustion;

1.2 depersonalization; and

1.3 reduced personal accomplishment.

3. To determine the significant relationship between time management and burnout among UM

Tagum College senior high school students.

Hypothesis

This hypothesis will be tested at 0.05 level of significance, stating that there is no

significant relationship between time management and burnout.

Methods

Research Design : Quantitative Non-experimental using Descriptive and


Correlational Method
Respondents : 282 Senior High School Students of UM Tagum
College

Instrument Used : Adopted and Modified Survey Questionnaire

Sampling Technique : Random

Summary

This study is a quantitative type of research. The gathered data was based from the variable

time management which was being correlated to burnout. The target respondents of this study were

the senior high school students of UM Tagum College and through random sampling technique,

the researchers picked an absolute number of 282 respondents. Consequently, this research made

use of an adopted and modified survey questionnaire.

After the data were gathered and analysed, it revealed the following results:
