Day 1

 Checking of tools, equipment and materials and work


stations.
 Good morning!
 Welcome to LSPU TESDA accredited training center
 I am Mr. Dexter Ruiz P. De Jesus, your facilitator and trainer of
EIM NC II, EIM NC II has a nominal training duration of 402
hours.
 Before we formally start may I request to everyone to stand up

 As I call your name please raise your hands and sign in into our

 Thank you for having a perfect attendance.
 Now, let’s proceed to our power point presentation.
 Once again welcome to LSPU, and thank you for choosing
LSPU as your training ground for EIM NC II, We will assure to all
of you that we will provide you quality training that will help
you to develop your skills and knowledge.
 Now let’s discuss the brief history of our institutions (discussing
the history of institutions)
 Our institutions Vision is ….. (Discussing Vision) and our mission
is …. (Discussing Mission)
 Aside from EIM NCII our institutions also offered other courses
like…. (Discussing other courses offered).
 So now let’s discuss CBT, is there anyone has an idea what is
CBT? (student state his/her idea about it).
 CBT – Competency Based Training is an approach that
focuses on the competency development of the learner as a
result of the training. All in all CBT is a student centered
approach which is the learning will comes from the students
not from the teachers.
 Traditional Education- is a teacher centered teaching
method it is like spoon feeding method and the learning will
comes from the teachers.

 Now let’s proceed to 10 principles of the training.
 1. 2. 3. Training delivery is individualized and self-paced (It
means that you will be the one who will responsible in your
own learning.) 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. The system allows (RPL) Recognition
of prior learning (Trainees who have prior skills will be
recognized as long as you will presents your evidences. 9. 10.
Approved training programs are nationally accredited. (
Training program are registered within UTPRAS )( Unified TVET
Program Registration and Accreditation System.)

 1. Serves as a team member to determine what is to be
learned(As your trainer I am also a facilitator and part of the
learning process.) 2. 3.4.Diagnose and solves learning
problems. ( as your trainer I’m the one who will help you to
solve your learning problems. 5.Evaluate student
achievement (As your trainer I am responsible to evaluate
your performance or achievement.) 6. 7. 8. 9. Serves as a
model for desirable work habits, attitudes and task
performance 10. 11. 12.

a trainee.
 1. 2. Trainees learn at their own rate or within program
guidelines. They may speed up, slow down, stop or even
repeat a task. ( you as a trainee you are the one who has the
control of rate of training.) 3. 4. 5. Trainees are responsible for
what they learn and when they learn. ( You as a trainee you
are the one who is responsible of your learning. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
11. 12. 13. Trainees learn according to their interest, needs,
and abilities- not according to teacher timelines and
expediency. (you as a trainee it depends to your interest,
needs, and abilities your learnings and not from me).

just to measure your knowledge about from the qualification.

check your Prior Learning in the qualifications. Please get one
and pass, you have 10 mins to answer.

the competencies, while other are new to the qualifications.

 Good afternoon trainees, so now we will have a tour to
different work stations, please observe silence as we pass
through on the different work area.

1. Contextual Learning Resource Area – This is the area where


underpinning knowledge are provided to the trainee.
2. Learning Resource Area – This is like a library that you can find
CBLM.
3. Distance Learning Area- In this are you can get a printed and
non-printed media.
4. Computer Laboratory - This laboratory has an array of
computer units where trainee are provided to learn and gain
knowledge.

5. Trainers Resource Area - this area houses the learning


materials, the training regulations and curriculum exemplars,
also the place where instructors produce courseware or
training materials

6. Quality Control Area- Calibration are conducted in this area


including in process quality control

7. Practical Work Area – In this are the trainee’s acquire skills and
knowledge of the competencies.

8. Institutional Assessment Area – In this area the Recognition of


Prior Learning is done by the trainer
9. Support Service Area - These are provides values adding
competencies.

Now let us go back to our lecture room, ok so for your assignment

DAY 2

 Good morning trainees

 Again Welcome to LSPU Training Center

 May I Request to stand up for a short prayer…. Amen, please

 Trainees this is our activity matrix, where you can find our activities
for the whole training sessions. So now please check our activity
for today.

 For those who checked yes in self-assessment may I have your


evidences.

 Ms./Mr. _____1______you have a prior knowledge in Prepare


Electrical Power and Hydrolic Tools, because you have worked
in Electrical Company as an Electrician, but still I need to validate
your certificate. Please proceed to Institutional Assessment Area
and perform the Job Sheet No. 1.1 and job sheet 1.2
 Ms/Mr. ______ _2_____ please proceed to the Learning Resource
Area, and read CBLM information sheet 1. 1-1 and answer self-
check no. 1. And also compare your answer to the answer key.
 Ms./Mr. ______1_____ you clearly understand what you are doing
in this competency please come with me at Trainer’s Resource
Area and I will check your achievement chart and progress
chart.
 So now you are competent in competency 1 and 2 here is your
certificate of achievement, congratulations!
 Since that you have an advance knowledge in our competency
can you please help me to assist other trainees in their training?
 So now please proceed to the COMPUTER LABORATORY AREA
and research about the Installing Electrical Lighting System on
Auxiliary Outlets and Lighting Fixtures.
 Hello MS/ MR. ____2____ may I see your work please, ok based on
your learning material you learned a lot from reading and you
understand it very well, so now please come with me to the
TRANING RESOURCE AREA to check your achievement chart and
progress chart ( check ,check ) now you are competent in
competency no. 1, here is your Certificate of achievement and
certificate of training . Congratulations! You may now proceed
to the CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREA to watch localize video on
how to Assemble Fluorescent Lamp.
AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO
 I will show you on how to assemble the Fluorescent Lamp.
 MR./MS. ____2____ please stay here in the CONTEXTUAL
LEARNING AREA and continue watching the video and I will be
back when you are ready to demonstrate.
 MR./MS. ____1____ kindly proceed to the PRACTICAL WORK AREA
and demonstrate on how to assemble Fluorescent Lamp, but
don’t be ashamed if I’m watching your work because I need to
check your performance in our performance criteria checklist.

Traning , now please proceed to LEARNING RESOURCE AREA,
and read the Information sheet 3.3-1 and answer the self-check
3.3-1 and also refer your answer to the answer key.
 MR./MS ________2______ please come with me to the PRACTICAL
WORK AREA and demonstrate Assembling the Fluorescent Lamp,
but don’t be ashamed if I’m watching your work because I need
to check your performance in our Performance Criteria
Checklist.
 I’m glad you perform well upon assembling the fluorescent you
connect the wires properly, but you forget to connect the fuse in
our Fluorescent Lamp, so I will give you another chance to re-
demonstrate again and please follow the step in assembling the
Fluorescent Lamp.
 How are you Mr./Ms. _____1_____ are you doing fine? Ok let me
ask you something regarding to your activity that you are doing
right now. Ok what are the different conduit fittings? ....... Ok
good job! Keep it up! Please continue.
 Mr./Ms. _____2_____ are you done? Ok let me check your work.
 Ok you did a great job please come with me to the TRAINING
RESOURCE AREA and I will check your achievement and progress
chart. Congratulation now you are competent in competencies

and Certificate of training.

 Ok trainee’s since its already 4:00 o’clock, but please before you

DAY 3
 Good Morning trainees
 May I request to everyone to stand up for our morning prayer
 Since this is the last day of our training and all of you is competent
in the qualification of EIM NC II, Now here is your Certificate of
completion, Congratulations everyone!
 Now Ill give you a post test, but don’t worry this is the same test
that I already give last first day of your training, so you have 20
mins to answer the test. Ok times is up pass your papers.
 Let me check your papers , ok good job everyone Mr./ms.
_____1____You 48 out of 50 good job, Mr/Ms. ____2____ you got
45 out of 50 good job. Again good job everyone.
 So now it’s time for you to evaluate me as your trainer here is the
evaluation form if you have any suggest or comment don’t
hesitate to write your comments to the comments box.
 Done ? ok pass the evaluation form to the front.
 So now if you are ready for national assessment kindly notify the
AC manager to schedule your assessment.
 And btw the requirements are 2x2 picture passport size with white
background and chemical print. And also you need to fill-up the
application form.
